If you want to use online banking use PNC they guarantee the information is accurate and with their virtual wallet you don't even get statements you can balance and use their budgeting tools to stay on top of your transactions. I am very happy I switched banks and you will be too. Huntington always uses gimmicks, can't stand them.
JcHomes: Are you serious? Commissions ARE negotiable. You can even negotiate the split of the commission like 5+1. I see discount brokers and agents charging 5% and full service brokers and agents charge 6-7%. That being said I see more homes being sold by the full service brokers and I use them to sell my own properties. I have used discount brokers and find them to skimp on marketing and professionalism. You get what you pay for. As for title companies same thing applies. Many of my colleague inverters have been put in horrible situations because of bad title companies. I like how you exclaim that people are wrong but offer no explanation or examples. I would have to agree and say you are an idiot.
Did you bother to look at the return policy yourself? Whatever is in writing trumps what you were "told".
Do you have your receipt? First you have to prove you did pay for it. Usually merchants give you an activation receipt with the purchase of a gift card. If you don't have those then I would say you are out of luck.
What do you expect them to do without a receipt? That is your proof. I probably wouldn't keep the receipt either but I wouldn't expect the store to take it back without it.
If you thought there could be a problem if they didn't work then why not just buy lights somewhere closer to your home? What if they worked in the store but didn't work when you got them home? The manager was rude and I would of just threw the lights on the shelf and left. They obviously don't want your business.
What does the form you filled out say? I'm confused when you said you filled it out then told her you wanted something else? Sounds like you might of confused her or there might of been miss-communication. She probably processed the order by what you wrote. If that isn't the case then did you speak to her or a manager about it or just complain on this board?
The bank is offering you a service, you are not a customer, and you want it for free? Where do you go that you get a service or a product for free? Why should the bank be any different. Even if the check is drawn on that banks account they are still taking on the risk of cashing it to someone they may never see again. You know how much fraud and scams are out there? On top of the risk they are paying people and have an expense to give you that service. If you are using that bank a lot maybe you should have a relationship with them so you can cash checks without any issues.
