As far as your lack of payment goes and your threat to lien, again you should know your facts. I have to question if you even have the intelligence to do the work assigned to you. Maybe it's your lack of money management that is the problem. In the "Real business world" it is not uncommon to not get paid for 30 to 45 days. And in some cases retainage is with held for up to a year. FYI Retainage is a percentage owed that can be with held. If you’re looking for a weekly pay check, you could try your local Mc Donald’s and get out of construction!
