I've heard of all kinds of service & contract problems with APX/SAI (none as bad as yours however) not to mention their rates keep creeping over $40-50/mth. It seems no other company is using APX's/SAI's equipment to switch. My co-worker found a company online (ALARM SVC CO OF AMERICA) that claims they can use the equip (they switched him from APX/SAI for free) then reduced his rate to $25/mth...Likely he's into another agreement. I saw their ad saying if you refer a new customer they credit you 2 months free, refer 7 total and they give you free monitoring for life; asked him whether he's had any success with this to date, said he received 2months credit so far (he got his daughter to switch). He's seems very happy with them, needless to say he's urging me & his neighbors to switch over.. here's their page: www.asca-us.com

I've seen of all kinds of service & contract problems with this company as well. The restocking fee is basically unnoticeable to the average consumer and their way to guarantee they get some payment, even if you cancel them. Needless to say, you and your wife aren't going to have peace of mind until you find some 24/7 protection. I saw an ad (in writing) saying if you refer a new customer to this company (ALARM SVC CO OF AMERICA) that sub-contracts in Texas, they credit you 2 months free, refer 7 total and they give you free monitoring for life. I found them on Google and also Facebook. Take a look at their page: www.asca-us.com

I saw an ad by another company (ALARM SVC CO OF AMERICA) in writing saying if you refer them a new customer they credit you 2 months free, refer 7 total and they give you free monitoring for life. Their rate is $25/mth, the agreement is 3 yrs, and they can use most existing alarm systems (switch for free). I've been using them for about a year and I'm quite happy with them, plus my first 2 months were automatically free. They've been around for 30 years I think and I can't find anything negative about them. I found them on Google and Facebook. Take a look at their page: www.asca-us.com
If any of you sign-up with them, they're instructing me to give you this PIN code (so I get the referral = 2 months free)! PIN: IC-7000 (Thanks if you decide to)

I saw an ad by another company (ALARM SVC CO OF AMERICA) in writing saying if you refer them a new customer they credit you 2 months free, refer 7 total and they give you free monitoring for life. Seems their specialty is getting AMP/APX/SAI customers out of their contracts w/o any legal fees. Their rate is $25/mth, the agreement is 3 yrs, and they can use most existing alarm systems (switch for free). I've been using them for about a year and I'm quite happy with them, plus my first 2 months were automatically free. This is outrageous and unacceptable by a supposedly 'respected' company! I saw an ad by another company (ALARM SVC CO OF AMERICA) in writing saying if you refer them a new customer they credit you 2 months free, refer 7 total and they give you free monitoring for life. Seems their specialty is getting monitored customers out of their contracts w/o them paying legal fees. Not sure how, but what's interesting is that this applies only in the last 6 months of your existing agreement. Their rate is $25/mth, the agreement is 3 yrs, and they can use almost any existing alarm system (switch for free). I've been using them since September of 2017 and I'm quite happy with them, plus my first 2 months were automatically free...so I paid $200 in my first year when they applied my only referral (6 more to go). They've been around for 30 years I think and I can't find anything negative about them. I found them on Google and Facebook. Take a look at their page: www.asca-us.com
