NFCU as a whole (not just the "customer service" division) has gone down hill and there reputation with them! I have been a member for 25 years and that is soon to change. Would never use them again and in fact purposely discourage anyone from borrowing from them. Basically, in my opinion, the organization is a SHARK! Out to kill and destroy! "Buyer" or should I say "Borrower" BE WARE!
Yup! Good for you! I would NEVER use NFCU for any loan purposes. We currently have a home loan with them (what a joke - the whole mortgage department is unprofessional and rude!). We plan on refinancing with another lender asap!
p.s. NFCU is supposed to be this 'great' credit union for Veterans and Military personnel? In my opinion, they treat their members almost as poorly as the Veterans of the Vietnam war were treated after returning from Nam.
I agree with you! We had a similar experience with NFCU and they are rude, unprofessional and in my opinion, there is wide spread fraudulent activity going on! I think the whole place needs a 'shake up' and workers from the top down need to be replaced. Their reputation is already so damaged. It is my opinion, they will fail, go down financially, right along with their poor reputation!
I think that's a bunch of bs! Most of the employees at NFCU, in my opinion, could care less and have shown us over and over again just how rude and unprofessional they are! Indeed, NFCU doesn't seem to monitor customer service calls because if they did, maybe they would get rid of the ones (MOST OF THEM) that are ridiculously rude and obnoxious!
A member is usually calling in because of financial stresses. The last thing they need is to hear a nasty, rude, careless voice on the other end of the phone (which by the way, NFCU, is more than happy to provide). (Again, my opinion!)
