I have not had a great experience with them either. They removed 2 wisdom teeth which seemed to go ok but I still had lingering pain in a tooth near one of the extraction sites a few weeks after. One doctor there said I would likely need a root canal through my existing (and, I might add, 6 month-old) crown but that they could likely fill it. Wanted me to come back thought for a second consult with Dr. Hu. On the second consult, Dr. Hu rather quickly concluded that a root canal was in order and that I would have to have a completely NEW crown put in. I was then taken to the consultation room to absorb the shock of what I was going to have to pay. Talked to a few other people who were skeptical of the need to replace the crown (I've never had a root canal) so I called back and asked why the two dentists had conflicting opinions on how to proceed. They told me they'd call me back in an hour. They didn't. Next day, I decided to get a second opinion from a prior dentist so I called Neibauer and asked to have my records sent over. 2 minutes later, the dentist there called me back (how surprising) to say that it was ultimately Dr. Hu's call on what to do and he said the crown had to be replaced because the existing one "didn't look good". Went for the second opinion and the doctor said the crown looked fine and that a "wait and see" attitude was in order since the extraction caused trauma that the tooth could still be recovering from. I also found out that at Neibauer they had marked down the WRONG tooth to have the root canal done on. Needless to say, I have lost confidence in Neibauer and won't be returning.
