I work at Walgreens, and this happens all the time. People buy the cards and have some sort of problem every time. Mainly this problem is because the person is stupid; like most of our customers. You're not buying the card from Walgreens, you're buying it from Green Dot. We don't even make any money on the cards. I've even had some idiots come in with the card claiming that it didn't work, and that they even "scratched off the little black strip on the back, and there was no code underneath." How stupid could you possibly be? It's not our fault that you're a dead beat and can't get a free checking account like a normal person.
Seriously? Do you want them to hold your hand too?
I'm a photo tech at Walgreens, and I completely understand your frustration, but I should mention that it is hard for them to understand your situation if you go to a separate location than the one where you originally processed the film. They should have done the replacements for you at no charge. Unfortunately, we have many dishonest customers, and when you go to a different location after 30 days, they often will not do an exchange for you.
We have people like you come in every day. If you think CVS has a better coupon policy than we do, then [censor]ing go to CVS. We don't give a [censor] what CVS does. Every day I'm bothered by some over dramatic slob who wants to "inform" me that CVS, WalMart, Rite Aid, or even Kroger has a better coupon policy or a lower price than we do. We don't make the rules, we just work there. You're not hurting our feelings, we're not going to change our policy because you're upset, and we honestly don't care, and neither does the corporate office, so don't waste your time.
If you took a passport sized picture with your camera, edited it on your computer too make it a 2x2 size and then took it to Walgreens to get it printed, it will be a 4x6, since that's the smallest size we can make. If you requested the photo tech to go into the EZ controller and shrink your picture down to a 2x2, that is asking for a little too much because we waste a few prints trying to get the right size. If that was the case, then I would have charged you 7.99 too, unless you were exceptionally nice.
McDonald's has a lot of coffee trays, if you want poor service with your half-[censor] coffee then go ahead, Starbucks is better off without a prude like you. And, if the music is too loud then you're too old, and just because you go there to "reflect" doesn't mean that others do. How hard is it to ask..."Can you please turn the music down?" I am sure they wouldn't mind. ...[censor]s.
Why are you complaining? It's people like you that are never satisfied in life. The program is free so that you can get every 15th drink for FREE. What is the big deal that you have to have money on your card if you are going to spend money at Starbucks anyways..?
