I agree totally with all the negative complaints agains Nationwide Home Relief/First Legal/ and now Atlantic Legal Group.
I have been dealing with these/this company for a little over one year - and still no resolution. In fact, due to them dragging their feet and letting my file sit on a shelf, it has escilated to my house being in foreclosure, and Atlantic Legal Group now taking MORE money from me to settle the foreclosure (down payment and then monthly fees EVERY month).
I have so many emails from the beginning of this scam of a transaction that no one bothers answering. They read them, but nothing, no reply, no call. the only time they are diligent about getting in touch with me is for more money. Also, when when you call, all you do is speak to an operator/customer service rep who reads what is written in your file (same information each time) "so and so spoke to the bank, they have no further information, will call back in 2 weeks". I e mail and call time after time with no response other than that they don't have anything yet. And when you do speak to anyone when they are calling for more money, and state your concerns and opinion, they are nasty and come back at you with "well, it's not us that caused this, it's you that is not paying your mortgage".
I am in the process of contacting the DA's office where I live to report their shady practices. Hopefully, this will correct my situation - but more important, maybe this will finally stop them from being in business and doing this to others.
