Summer, door to door companies are a scam. The alarm industry as a whole isn't. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ANYONE WHO KNOCKS ON YOUR DOOR!
Also, you cannot tell when someone's contract expires by looking at the sign. The date on the sign is when the sign was made, not tied to the contract.
