I used to work for AMP talking to the customers about what they've understood before everything is finalized. The phone calls are recorded and we talk so fast that you %100 agreed to the 3 days over the phone at least. There is no way the system could go online unless you did. I agree the sales reps are sketchy; many times the customer would say "they told us 7 days not 3" and we'd have to fix the problem. They try to get away with a lot.

Bottom line is:

Amp works

Customer service sucks

You probably paid an activation fee that you shouldn't have had to pay

I've found MANY systems that have been active for a year but NEVER "online". So if they did have a problem the police would never know. So customers paid money for a system that wasn't working.

...I hate the company for the way they treated all the employees and I felt like I was cheating people when I talked to them on the phone. I will never work for an alarm company again. In my mind they are all scams one way or another.

There is a reason why all sells reps in New York were fired and shut down...

p.s. Brandon is full of himself. If they tell you they CAN'T do anything they are lying to you.
