I am sitting here with a heartbroken lady whose bank account was completely wiped out by these unethical devils! We called today 1-20-10 and spoke to a woman who was initially polite, but once she found the order in the computer system, she became super nasty with us and even taunted us! She said, very rudely, that the fee of $126.42 is NON-REFUNDABLE and even refused to let us speak to a supervisor! She also HUNG UP on me! We are going to see if we can do a chargeback through the bank... since this was purchased on a Visa debit card, there is hope... if YOU are able to get a resolution, PLEASE let me know at shane.trish @ hotmail . com so that I can help my friend... As a last note I will add that I am signing my friend up for a PayPal account, so that she can order things online without sharing her financial information, and plus there is an extra layer of protection! PayPal has its own chargeback procedure plus they guarantee certain purchases themselves... it makes being a buyer a LOT easier and virtually totally safe. I am NOT affiliated with the company but have been protected by them loads of times... recommended!
I suggest getting a copy of your credit report just to be sure this isn't on there. If it is, dispute it and say that you didn't order the product and specifically say that the alleged creditor refuses to provide proof of sale. Detail their bogus collection practices. I would also find out if there is a consumer agency or even the state Attorney General who can champion you. Good luck!
Hi - this is unbelievable but I have to report that we got a positive result here. Chase bank told us to wait for the charge to go through or for the hold to drop off the money, because nothing could be done until then. I had firmly but politely let the rep at Vibrant Smile know that this was an elderly lady who did not understand what she was doing, and maybe that made some difference. THE HOLD DROPPED OFF HER MONEY without taking anything from her account! The bank didn't even put the NSF fees through, even though for the last 5 days a negative available balance had been showing. She hasn't lost a thing.
I sincerely hope that others experiencing this problem can find a good resolution as well. Seriously... prayers to you all! And to anyone else considering purchasing Vibrant Smile - STEER CLEAR!
