WATCH WO WE KNOW!-I hope more ppl that have had simular things like this done to them start telling everyone. I AM FED UP WITH every1 blaming= debtors*$ & collectos*actions COLLECTORS R going to far when they say "PAY UR BILLS" "STP CRYING" ITS UR FAULT"thats a personal statement NOT JUST DOING UR JOB and then those who wanna pick on any1's spelling just dont have a gd come back (come on, 4 real) NO 1 IS PERFECT duh; But no need to lie to creditors or cunsumers! THEY CAN NOT CALL U AT WORK (like they told me they could ) IF U TELL THEM ITS NOT ALLOWED< TH EY CANT CALL AT CERTAIN TIMES if u tell them what good time to call is. I understand they read a script & get told 2 do things a certain way
BUT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND how MOST COLLECTORS handle the situation, if the person gets mad tell them its just company policy & they personally understand. IN LIFE s*** HAPPENS if YOU r human than u know how humanity goes
On December 14th 2009, approximatley 3:00pm i recieved a call a phone call on my home phone, that number is not listed (its private) and under my husbands name. A lady named "Kristine" (spelling ? ) I spent 20 min on the phone with her going over my account info and discussing what i can do & cant do at this current time. She offered me a "OPT-OUT" thing i listened carefully, said i would like to " cant make a promise right now (*had to ck my income in & debts going out 1st) offer had to be an electronic payment ( asked if i could mail when i knew i had the funds). I didnt think much about it at first, after a while she started to get frustrated about my lack of not able to pay anything right then. She asked for the reason for not paying, I explained my situation apparently wasnt good enough- she wanted more: Kristine went on rapidly asking the following questions :"How do you get your money? / Where does it go ? How do you spend it? Are you married?"
:I replied : I dont think thats any of your concern.
:Kristine: Yes, it is you owe blank amount of money payment past due. became rude a spitefull.
:Kristine went on saying: "You didnt have a problem taking the merchandise out of the store"
:I didnt know what to say, for a secound like i had committed a crime, I COULDNT BELEIEV IT I SAID "EXSCUSE ME"
:Kristine: You have two cars and a house, you can still pay for.
:I said " I want your manager, " I felt degraded & low, (my eyes teared up) I said in a lould shakey voice "How dare you", and asked "Is my conversation being recorded"? I asked her for her name for id puposes"
:Kristine: Yes, it is . "Kristine you dont need my last name. (no other id form)
Her Supervisor Mark Bontempi got on the line i was in the middle of detail on what happend when he cut me off so say " I see you manage two cars and a house payment." So i was upset yes, in the end he said nothing was done wrong. I asked how they got my home number he said it poped up on dialer system or got it somewhere. Later i called the company & asked to speek to a top person of management or president form. I got a man named Jeremy Heltke i told him what happend he did not see what the problem was, and didnt understand why i was calling nothing was done wrong he said.
I asked about the recording ( they did not say that normal line ever1 usually says, ) he was not interested oin listening to it, and said they do not keep them they rercord over them.
I wanna know how they got my home # if it wasnt against the law he would have made sure to tell me exactly how they got it like i asked for> And HOW & WHY THEY CAN ASK ABOUT MY HOME AND CARS! how is that even relevant to the speacific situation they called HOW DID THEY GET THAT INFO, Hope some1 replies to me ps: i know i am a bad speller
A collector from First Source i asked are you from "FirstSource Advantage"LLC she said no never heard of them. Weird she was calling about the same account First source company was. How do i get the # for capital one target comp? Bet i will find it somehow determined/ Ok : You dont have to say things like "You guys just want a reason to get out of the debt that you racked up" thats too far hope your not a credit collector its that attitude that gives creditors a bad name. I use to think they were suppose to gather info for the purpose of collecting the money that is due. Now i am thinking they are well, , , , not helping anything at all just pushing ppl further away from paying and giving ppl reason to sue= lack of character is hard in person shouldnt be that hard over the phone if collectors are just doing there job. Sure there wiull always be that few ( on both side).
ps: I know im a bad speller so if u have a neg. remark dont use that sop out i know i owe money but i cant see why companies like firrst source advantage cant take responsability for there actions as well to begin with.(b 4 the lawyers have to come in)
To BOTH PARTYS- Name calling solves nothing but answering the phone solves nothing just the same. I can spend 45min longer one time talk to 3 diffrent ppl in one day about the same account from same company & nothing changes anything. Lack of communication can start wars, And TO BILL COLLECTOR: I dont think u should be doing this job if u already think debtors are losers to begin with. PPL with ur attitude is what feeds the need for lawyers a collectors job is to help gather info by/& with a person to try a payment that works best to get debt paid. 1 creditor was on the phone with me i started asken ?'s and he said "you dont care about your pay agreement" i spent to much time with you already, 3 min" and hung up Tom Smith with first source advantage. The names many give me dont even know if they are real so when i call back and no 1 works there by that name, than they think its not on them. But it gives all creditors a very bad rep. You represent what could be done instead many collectors push ppl farther away from any payment made. And Consumers i wish u could remember that once n a while we do get a real person on the other end and yes, thay do have a job to do. keep ion mind they have feeling just like you, unless they give u reason to think not.

TO^^"neyers" I am very anger that you have this kind of an approach towards a serious problem. Id like to speak with you more, or anyone more about these kinds of matters.
Im not on either side but come on if we are all grown ups then why do we call each other names. What goes around comes around. But you "neyers" I hope u get the chance to understand the whole system of "bills and Loans" Approval. Borrowing getting a credits card is a process itself, in hopes to build a credit line. And No - "when someone comes asking for there money"like u stated { thats not as easy as u think. Do u think most ppl want to have bad credit? Yes, i feel I/we R ALL are violated when the bill collectors push for you to pay over the phone "even after we say i cant pay today. We live in the united States of America - Thats who sets ur limits for ur job, and gives us our rights. So sry MY AMERICA says that there are rights you are (collectors) violating.
Where u from again / dont u know our laws?/ Not all if u r bad but those bad apples on ur end like the (collector's) attitude representation & HONESTY. Its not fair how the whole system is working right @ this current time, *NEWS flash life is not fair, Just because the united states of america owes billions to other countrys, doe sthat mean ur saying our government has no right to complain about anything!? If buisness's granted the card/loan, than they know any & all results before hand, approved they GAVE me the card. I didnt not pull a gun out and demand for that plastic card ( Not paying, is not the same as steeling. If collectors would call "To just ask ask for there money, it wouldnt leave us in our boat we are in. I got all kinds of recordings if you dont beleive me hoe sum colllectors talk to there customers. First of all i hope someday u will see that hurting ppl, & pulling them down farther will only set u back farther by saying what u have on this site. This is not ur job ur job is to HELP us customers figure a plan thats works for both partys.
2nd of all i paid electronic payment and "oopppsss" they just so happend to loose all my information and never gave me a reponse, so I assume u just pay the bill & trust that computers & humans dont make kistakes. I pray that a mother that just lost there child dont here you on here talken like that, you dont know ever persons personal affairs so STOP pretending you know it all, please.
PSS: I do owe money and I DO have the right to stop criminal activities --- Not complain ''but even then irts still my right as an America, , Alot of ppl died for me to have these rights.
