Yes. Dentists at Gentle Dental are a bunch of scam artists. I made an appointment for a regular cleaning, but I got nothing more than an exam by a dentist just to tell me that I need a debri cleaning (similar to a deep cleaning) and a root canal. I fell for it which cost me $110 out of my pocket. It turned out that the debri cleaning is just like a regular cleaning that I would get at my old dentist. Then I was scheduled for a root canal per the recommendation from the first dentist. I came back for the root canal and was charged $20 for consultation by the root canal guy just to hear him say that I needed a root canal. The wait is unbelievably long. I ended up telling them that I have to come back for the root canal another time. I have a crown on the tooth that needs the root canal, and the root canal guy told me that he will try his best not to break the crown so I don't have to replace it. But seeing their practice so far, I'm pretty certain that I will end up replacing the crown if I decide to get the root canal done by them.
Please beware of this place. I plan to report them to the Better Business Bureau. Places like this make the cost of health care rising.
