I also got a bizarre phone call from a GC Services Rep claiming to represent Sallie mae. He kept skirt tailing around my questions about who he was and why he was calling and kept fishing for my personal information. All of the personal info he tried to match to me was incorrect (addresses, date of birth, last 4 of ss#, college). He became frustrated with me for not divulging any information and made a rude smart ### comment when I told him I obviously was not who he was looking for and was unwilling to speak further with him. The number he was calling from was a Columbus Ohio number caller id tag "Operations Division".
