I just got "the call" from Marc. Thank you all for posting.

The contact number he gave me is: [protected]. But I don't think he answers the phone...just collects messages and calls back who he wants.

I just got a call from him.

This is the # he left, but I bet he won't call you back. I think he screens his calls and only calls people who HAVEN"T sent him money yet.

[protected]

I urge all of you who have been scammed to report it. I am not familiar with Florida agencies, but try a Consumer Fraud Protection, State Attorney General, Better Business Bureau.

Good luck. Thank you all for posting. You saved me.

Hi,
I wrote a long comment that didn't go through. Anyway, I avoided being scammed by finding this complaint board after Marc asked me for $1296 in "unsecured funds".

Here is the contact info from his fax:
E.A.T. Sales
2234 N. Federal Hwy, Suite #474
Boca Raton, FL 33431
[protected] (also called him at [protected]
Fax; [protected]
email: sales@eatshares.com

This email does work because I wrote him a note not to EVER contact me again and he hasn't!

I urge anyone who sent him money to contact your credit card company and/or bank. Then call the Florida Consumer Fraud Dept (at the Florida State Attorney General's office).

My info was SOLD from a form I filled out on line regarding selling my timeshare. He had my name and home phone number. I mention this because there are different laws and crimes for if information and contact occured online or via US mail. I expect that's why he uses FedEx for payment, to avoid the federal offense of mail fraud.

I hope you get him and will be watching this story closely.

I don't want to leave my private info sorry.

From the BBB website:

"BBB's goal is to successfully resolve complaints involving buyers and sellers in a fair and timely fashion. This includes complaints involving consumer-to-business and business-to-business transactions that involve the advertisement and/or sale of a product or service. Information concerning the nature and resolution of complaints filed with BBB is used in developing BBB Reliability ReportsTM on companies...BBB generally does not handle complaints which are more effectively handled by other government or private agencies or the legal system".

Everyone above is urged to lodge a complaint with the BBB, but since E.A.T. doesn't respond to its own customer's calls and concerns, why would a company (BBB) that only acts as a mediator (not punitive) get better service?

E.A.T. needs to be reported to legal authorities. Period.
