Why on earth would you take a Mercedes to Wal-Mart? I'm surprised they didn't refuse to do it altogether. My mom has a Mercedes and her baby doesn't go ANYWHERE except and authorized Mercedes Authorized Dealer/Shop!
Just HOW long should ANY store have a warrany? I thinK Wal-mart's in NOT unreasonable!

It's possible that someone found the receipt and used the gift card. Sometimes that happens.

I'm glad I work at a terrific Wal-Mart! Although in 2 years I have NEVER seen a debit card charge for each swipe! But, the quick remedy for that would have been to call a Customer Service Manager and he/she could have just voided the whole transaction and returned your overpayment.

So rry you had an experience. Air mattresses can only be exchanged because dishonest people buy them, use them for their guests for the night or a weekend, then return them for a refund, getting to use the product for free! Unfortunately, policies do change as needed. Portable DVD players and GPS Systems only have a return policy of 15 days so people can't return them after they "borrowed" them for a car trip.
I'm surprised THIS Wal-Mart is still in business. If it's like you say it is, I say everyone should boycott it.

First, one word: Liability. And if you go to catch the ball and run into a peg hook and rip your eye out guess who gets to pay for your stupidity?

They display the product until there is 0 (none) left. Then the consumer has the OPTION of purchasing the display model. And some of the times the display is missing all the peices and parts. That's why it is discounted. They can't put a new model on display until the old one is completely gone.

Return policy on tv's is 90 days, WITH receipt! Yes, they might carry that model and they might have been carrying is for 6 or more months. If the product doesn't ask for the serial number to be scanned, there is NO WAY to tell when it was sold! Why is it ALWAYS Walm-Mart's fault if an item is defective. They purchase from wholesalers and offer it to John Q. Public who doesn't HAVE to buy it!
I used to live over 100 miles from nowhere and just made a monthly trip to the city. You can't please everybody, but you can sure tru to please the majority. And just think, if Wal-mart doesn't have that section anymore, it will keep a small business going!

If you want it for the online price, you can. You just have to wait. Walmart.com is an ONLINE store. Walmart doesn't match Amazon.com or Overstock.com. Get over it!

Drop your prescription off FIRST! Or have you Dr. call it in. They fill them in the order received even if you are there. I work there and I had to wait 1 1/2 hours for my pain pills. No special treatment. They fill hundreds a day and trust me, she knew you were next. You wouldn't have gotten out of there any faster if she would have smiled sweetly and asked how your day was. How would YOU like to be crammed in that little area with everyone glaring at you?
You start a Christmas fund for your purchases. What's wrong with that? One of the reasons Layaway is gone is because people would either stop paying on it 2 months later or change their mind and cancel There is not enough room to hold these items as people want more variety of product and that takes more room. Plus, after people decide they don't want it, it might be out of season or discontinued and then the store has to mark it down.

20 items or less? So then the person with MORE than 20 items has to go though once for their purchases, THEN get in line for cigs just ot make your life more convenient? As far as I have seen, all stores have an inconvenient area to purchase smokes, not just Wally World!

Associates are humans, too. For little pay they are required to maintain a sunny dispostion after 8 hours on their feet. and try to be corteous to customers who bark orders and treat you like a slave. They are poor working class, too!

Acually the photography studio is contracted out by Wal=mart. They are not walmart associates. Not that is matters

Give me a break! Customers have go to to start taking responsibility for their purchases. There is no way that one could explain each and every policy with each and every purchase. I would think that a person could hold on to a receipt for a minimum of 24 hours. By the way, if you knew which register, which associate and the approximate time, they could have looked up the transaction and printed you a duplicate receipt!

Once the card is swiped and the signature bar shows up, you have crossed into the land of no return. Transaction can't be stopped. Once you swiped, you petty much authorized the charge, signature or not. You don't sign online, either, but the charge goes through. By the way, reversing the charge can take 7-.10 days. That's not Walmarts policy, its the credit card company

If your mom can remember the date and aprroximate time and what register, the transaction CAN be looked up and a duplicate receipt given.

Employees have no reason to withhold your receipt. It has no magical powers for them. As for not being able to "cash out" your gift card, if that were true they just would have given you cash. I no of no stores that exchange gift cards for cash. Don't blame walmart!
You say every time you shop at walmart you get so angry you don't go back. Obviously you do, so don't!

Tell me ANY store that would give a 2 year warranty! Especially on an electronic item. The product is usually obsolete in 6 months! Idoits out there try to bring stuff back just to upgrade and keep getting free stuff. Stop already!
There are no "cashiers in the back". Walmart runs a tight ship. When people call in, there are no stand=bys. That's why they call them "weekends". Plus everyone already has their alotted hours and if someone DID by chance want to come it to work, they can't. What I would suggest is to plan your shopping trips for the less shopped hours. Never on a weekend, though!
The Walmart in my city is NOT a Super Walmart and they still have a Craft and Fabric Department!
