I just got off the phone with Maytag regarding my 8 yr old model MFI2568AEQ which is having the same water/ice dispenser issues as noted in all previous posts. Customer Service (LOL) was of no use, even after speaking to supervisor. Same old story about there being no recalls or quality issues. I asked who decides if there is a quality issue and was told that it was the company engineers. I commented that of course they won't find anything wrong with their product. I stated I was a loyal Maytag customer, that all my kitchen and laundry appliances where Maytag, and believe that I deserve some type of credit for loyalty. The Customer Service Supervisor stated I may be eligible for the Loyalty Retention Program which would give me a discount in the purchase of a new Maytag refrigerator. I told her I wasn't financially in a place to purchase a new refrigerator and that if I was, based on recent events, I wouldn't be buying another Maytag. Very disappointed in Maytag.
