I love my chillows. I have two regular ones and a travel one. I keep them clean by draining them every few weeks (keeping a hold on the pad inside so that it doesn't get twisted or bunched). I then put in a few drops of a product that we use in our outdoor fountain. This kills any mold, mildew or algae that might otherwise grow inside the chillow. I put my chillows in the refrigerator for about twenty minutes each night and then put a towel over it when I take it to bed. When it gets too warm at night, I simply swap the warm one for the fresh cold one. I have given a couple of these as gifts to my mother, who uses them on her feet due to neuropathy.
