I've played Travian for a couple years now, on a few different servers. I have had to restart a couple times because of aggressive players. It is a war game, I have to agree. But I do have a few complaints and/or suggestions. Allowing one person to have multiple accounts (bannable) is just as unfair as allowing one account to be played 24/7 by two or more people (Allowed and encouraged). The use of sitters is a great idea. But getting a sitter should be used used as defense, and limited to spending down incase of attack, and troop movements limited to sending troops away as reinforcements to avoid attacks. Not sitting to bolster the times to raid on a given account. Travain would be better off to level the playing field a bit to be playable by a wider more varied group of people. Instead It is only playable and enjoyable by a narrow group.
I love playing Travian, but I belive it could be made so much better with just a few saml changes. Changes that would benifit the vast majority of current Travian players, and allow new players the chance to play and learn the game.
