In early February 2009 I canceled all services with Telecom USA which they verified would be canceled; however at the end of March I received a bill in the amount of $124.68 with a final Notice for long distance services which were not authorized since they were no longer my carrier. Not only did they continue to bill me but they billed me at an even higher rate than what I was previously paying on the original plan I had with them. How can a long distance carrier bill for charges when they are not authorized as a long distance carrier to a customer. Shouldn't my phone had no long distance service until I authorized a new carrier? Which incidentally I did which was Verizon's Freedom Plan which somehow was canceled without my knowledge.
