The same thing happened to me. Sales person cane to my door and sold me on an alarm for a trial period that i could cancel. Said i had 30 days. Also told me it would lower my insurance significantly. I did what many here did. Foolishly signed the contract without reading. Just going on what the salesman said. Big mistake. When i called to cancel, i was told i had 3 days not 30. I looked at the contract and it does say that. My fault for not reading it. I called customer service several times and got the run around until they finally told me i was locked in. I admitted to them i should have read the contract but there salesman stood in my home and lied to my face. I offered to pay to have it uninstalled or cancel fee or whatever was fair but i didnt want to do business with this company. The sales tactics are shady. Told me i could cancel by paying the full 5 year contract off and that was my only option. Has anyone had any success getting out of their contract?
