Are you actually reading your comment? WHO BUYS A CHRISTMAS GIFT IN AUGUST?!
Seems like the kid didn't know much. But here's the thing - after finding out about the restocking fee, why didn't you just return it to another store and say it was defective? Do they try the mower in front of you at the cash desk? NO. Everyone complains about the "Sears system", yet they never understand how to find themselves around the rules.
Wow. Instead of wasting the half-hour on the phone with an automated phone system (which, if you actually LIVE in the 21st century you'd understand NEVER works), why not drive your car over to the nearest Sears store? Mhmm?
Exactly what Meghan said: Sears employees do NOT know anything about your account, why your cheque didn't go through. Think about it - privacy acts are there for a reason, lady. Grow up.
There are ALWAYS two sides to a story.
Maybe you were hammered out of your minds, and what you wrote is what you THINK happened?
Re: I get the same calls every morning while I'm sleeping and every afternoon when im trying to cover up my sleep hrs. I'm pregnant and these calls make me run and rush to pick phone up and its literally dangerous for me. The ringing bell is like the phone is coming from outside Canada which make me think that may my parents are calling from back home, but these stupids are calling. I don't know how many times me and my husband in every tone have told them we r not interested but they never listens. I m facing severe sleep deficiency at night and needs to cover it during day time but they make a mess. Now i took both phone sets off and kept inside cupboard... Finally I'm free. I hate them.
I'm sure it's dangerous when you're pregnant and running and rushing. But wow, I don't know, perhaps invest in an answering machine, as opposed to endangering the life of your unborn child? Good luck to your kid, lady.
Oh, really? Let's look: you tried ordering an illegal ID over the internet. And then you provide a possible illegitimate site with your photo, information and purchase info? Wow ... I don't understand why it would be a scam! Grow up.
I hope this is a joke. Can you imagine the reaction on Nintendo's corporate heads when they see this?
"Oh no! She knows a LOT of people! I guess we definitely have to worry about the other one billion customers we have!"
Seriously, are you twelve or something? Get off the internet, kiddo.
Wait ... wait ... do you LIVE in the 21st century? I mean, to not recognize an ACTUAL scam when you first see it ... you are wasteful.
So is any other big toy out there, lady. If everyone thought like you ("Potential accidents? OH NO!"), we'd all grow up in bubbles. These are the days I'm grateful not EVERYONE can become doctors at any given moment.
"This kind of crap is ridiculous."
No, what's ridiculous is that you thought that corporations simply handed out free money. Do you live in the 21st century or not?
So ... lemme get this straight.
Sears Canada does NOT do assembly.
And you're upset because they don't offer you an optional (read: NOT OBLIGATORY) service for you?
This is one of the stupidest complaints I've ever read. What was unbelievable? The fact you didn't get your way, or that you couldn't get a BBQ dirt-cheap at Sears? You're just upset Home Depot didn't offer you the low price. Get a life, buddy.
Instead of spending all your money to bring up a case against Sears Canada, why not take your AC to another Sears and ask to return it, and state it was defective from the get-go? Unwilling to lie? Well, enjoy spending your hard-earned cash on a losing court case. Sears Coquitlam - will take ANYTHING back.
