Ive worked for tjx for 5 yrs in des moines ia im now with tj maxx, that is the nature of the bussiness, but if you dont like it instead of complaing on here contact your district mng or regional vp, that is what the open door policy is for. if you are considered full time, they are required to give you 30 hrs a week so i would contact an hr person or the better busniess burea

ive worked for tj maxx in des moines ia for 5 yrs, and there should have been no issue returning your item. I think i know why they didnt want to though, you see any bedding at all that has been opened we can not resell we have to send it to charity, probably just a greedy manager. im sorry for your visit there, but i hope if your ever in des moines you visit our store.

there is nothing tjmaxx can do when a check is declined, we cant just make it work, those are issues with certegy and your bank, if certegy says no then thats where it stops

we dont let toys in the fitting room because it is our policy, if we make an exception to you we have to make one for everybody. only certain items can go into the fitting rooms because of shoplifters, what consumers dont know is for every dollar that is stolen or even damaged is a 50 dollar loss, because of the exspenses getting the item to that store, retail loses soo much many just because of inconsiderate shoppers.

just to let ya know i work for tjx, they just discovered that it wasnt just them, the same people did it to barnes and nobles and so many other stores. so dont go blaming people when you dont even know the whole story. this will hit the news pretty soon its deeper than they thought. there was nothing wrong with our security, its your banks and credit card companies that require us and all other stores to keep that info, when they should be.
i work at tjmaxx in des moines ia, and i have to say it is very hard for us to stay clean all the time becuase of disrespectful shoppers, we just dont have the man power to keep up with everything, and your particular store actually has a low inventory number, meaning they dont get a good mixture or a lot of stuff

its impossible for us to check every single item to see if the price is correct, however at the moment he should have sold it to you for that price. but it does happen when like items are different prices. This usually happens with marked down items, and they actually are different prices. its not just the style number that matters, its also the week number, if the same item comes in at different times they will be marked down at different times, because we dont not have "sales" and it would kill our inventory if we marked everything down at the same time
