I have a Ge profile washer that is 7 years old. The motor went out last August 2005. Six months after I had the motor repaired, the transmission went out. When this washer was 3 months old, I had to get work done under warranty (the gas dryer was repaired at 6 months old) I will not buy Ge appliances ever again. I am looking for Japanese or Korean appliances this time.
