We bought our place 5 years ago and our contract was sold to Countrywide. We tried getting refinancing through them but was denied because someone had removed the HUD tags on the back of manufactured home. When the appraiser came out he told us that if we get an affidavit of a fixture that it should be enough but per Countrywide it wasn't. My question is: If we decide to sell the home our we going to be able to do so or our we going to be denied it because of the tags? Or is this something that is done in Arizona?
