My 93 year old mother received a letter claiming she was eligible to win up to $4, 000, 000.00 Australian and all she had to do was send $15.00 Canadian ... via Credit Card, check or cash... supposedly guaranteed by the President of Prizemasters International Division for the Australian 6/45 Lotto. Oh and they will pay for you to fly to Australia to receive your prize money or you can get the additional $5K and the cheque will be delivered Registered mail. All this is apparently tax free... I would not want another senior citizen to be taken in by this scam.

My 90 year old father has been sending money to these shameful people for about 10 years he firmly believes he is going to win money for my sister and I to have once he is gone. He did not have much money to start with and none he has nothing left. We have done everything we can to try to stop him over the years. Blocking his mail, speaking to his Bank who in turn spoke with him about it.

We are heartbroken that these people are allowed to get away with such fraudulent activities. elaine.frost@ntlworld.com Uk
