They wont honor they're price commitments! Accepted order and then cancelled to make more money.

I been usin PriceRite Oil for years. They got great prices and the staff is professional and friendly. I really recommend them.

I ordered 100 gallons of oil on Thursday for a specific price, and they said it would be delivered on Monday. They took the money out of my account on Thursday for that oil. But on Friday, they called and left a message saying it's going to be .53 more per gallon. I already paid, and they took the money. When they took the payment, I thought we had a deal, but now they don't want to honor it. If they weren't going to honor it, they shouldn't have taken the money first.

I was quoted and pre-paid for oil at $4.31 a gallon. When they delivered, they charged $4.89 a gallon. It was a $200 difference! I called and they said they called and left a message. They never called. They said it says on the website price can change. When I gave my credit card over the phone, I asked, "Am I locked in at $4.31?" She said, "Yes, you are all set." I said I didn't authorize the change to be charged. She said, "That's the way we do it."

March 20, 2022. So, I saw this ad for Price Rite Oil at 3.89 per gallon if you ordered it by 1:00 on the 22nd of March. I thought, "Hey, that's a pretty good deal!" So, I called them up on the 21st when they opened at 8:30 AM. Guess what? They told me that the price wasn't in effect and it was actually 4.21. What a bummer, right? I mean, that's not cool at all. They should've let me know about the price difference right off the bat. I only found out when I asked for the total to make sure I was getting my senior discount.

On 10/3/2022, I ordered some home heating oil through Price Rite's app, just like I've done before. The price they advertised was $4.11 per gallon. The next day, on 10/4/22 at 10:16am, Gisella from Price Rite gave me a call to say sorry and told me that the price of oil had gone up overnight. She said they would have to charge me the new price of $4.18 per gallon. I understood and agreed to it. Gisella mentioned that the oil wouldn't be delivered until 10/11/22, which worried me a bit because of the time it would take and the price changes. But she reassured me multiple times that they would put a hold on my credit card for 100 gallons that day. This would ensure that I locked in the rate of $4.18 per gallon for that delivery. I have proof that they charged my card $418 on that day. However, they surprised me by delivering the oil earlier than expected, on 10/8, and they charged me $4.89 per gallon for 174.9 gallons. I've called them three times, but they refuse to honor the price they initially gave me and have overcharged me without my permission. It's a classic Bait & Switch tactic. I never agreed to pay $4.89 per gallon, and if I had known, I would have ordered from somewhere else.

I got a voicemail from PriceRite Oil, and they were all like threatening me about some balance that I apparently have but didn't even know about. They were saying they'll put a lien on my properties and drag me to court. They keep insisting that I asked for a fill-up, but that's not true at all. They can check my order history, and if they record phone calls, that would be awesome because we never asked for a fill-up. But let me tell you, the person they sent to deliver the oil was clueless. He didn't even know where to put the oil and just left without doing anything when we needed it. We even called to complain about it. The guy came back the next day, and he still didn't know what to do. We had to go outside and show him where to put the oil. He probably filled it up, and now they want us to pay for it. Why aren't they charging their own employee? And why are they threatening me with court when it's not my fault? I've been trying to call them to sort this out, but they never answer. My husband and I have been calling, and it's like they're avoiding us. If they send this balance to collections and take me to court, they better bring proof of the phone call where we supposedly asked for a full fill-up. They also need to show the history of my orders and payments. They're acting like we ordered it and now don't want to pay, but that's not true. I always pay my bills, and I only ever ask for 100 gallons, never more.
