Prestige talent review: great experience, but instructor donna falls short
I gotta tell you, my experience with Prestige Talent has been pretty good overall, but there's one thing that really rubbed me the wrong way. And that's the instructor Donna. Listen, I'm no stranger to a bit of tough love. Sometimes you gotta be firm to get the best out of people, right? But this woman takes it to a whole new level. Like, seriously, what's her deal?
From what I've seen, she's got some serious biases going on. Like, she'll go easy on the white students even when they mess up, but then she'll come down super hard on anyone who isn't white. It's pretty obvious to me that she's got some racist tendencies. And honestly, she's not very good at hiding it either. It's almost like she's not even trying.
Now, I don't wanna make it seem like this is a big problem across the whole of Prestige. Most of the team there are really great. They make you feel welcome and supported, and they know how to bring out the best in you. But when you've got someone like Donna in the mix, it can really bring things down. It's just frustrating to see someone like that in a position of authority.
In short, I just wanna say to the folks at Prestige: look, I know you're trying to run a business here, but you gotta do better than this. If you wanna be taken seriously as a talent agency, you can't have people like Donna on your team. She's bringing you down, and it's not fair to your students. So please, take a long, hard look at yourselves and make the changes you need to make.
Poor customer service experience with prestige talent in las vegas
I just wanna start by sayin' that I paid over $1,000 to go and watch my granddaughter's showcase in Vegas. We did it with Prestige Talent, and I gotta say, I'm not too happy with how things have turned out. They promised to get back to us in a couple weeks, but it's been over two months now, and we ain't heard a peep from 'em. It's just common courtesy to let us know what's goin' on, y'know? I ain't even mad that my granddaughter didn't book any jobs, but I'm real upset that we ain't gotten a response. I done sent two emails to this Bridgett person, and still nothin'. It ain't hard to just give us a little update, especially since we done gave 'em so much money. It's just plain ol' bad customer service, in my opinion.
Bridgett did respond to your emails. You declined to continue with our services.
After the showcase it is on you to follow up with the agents that are interested. You are the parent of the performer, therefore the agency was waiting for your response.
We emailed you a list of things the the agency was requesting.
You are confusing bad customer service with the fact that you didn't follow through with the agency callbacks.
We have an open door policy with all our clients, you are more than welcome to attend another showcase.
Prestige talent: a heartless scam targeting dreams of actors and models
Prestige Talent (prestigetalent.la) is a company that claims to help individuals reach their dreams of becoming actors or models. However, my personal experience with them was less than satisfactory. Let me tell you, they are straight up scammers! It's a shame that they are still out there preying on honest, hard-working people.
To start, they lure people in from out of town with fake showcase events. They advertise glossy photos of happy, successful people, but in reality, the showcase is full of cheap, crappy food and the cheapest soda you can imagine. And the awards they give out? They are straight from Dollar Tree. Who does that? It's really sad that people fall for this type of scam.
It's frustrating that no one has reported them to the authorities yet. Innocent kids who have dreams of becoming actors or models trust these people, only to be scammed later on. They have no shame. One has to wonder why Bridget and Mark have the heart to scam people in such a way. It's simply wrong.
In conclusion, if you see any advertisements for Prestige Talent (prestigetalent.la), my advice to you is to stay far away. They are not to be trusted and will take your hard-earned money without providing anything in return. It's important to spread the word and make sure others don't fall victim to their scam.
This person is complaining about free snacks that were provided to the children performers.
Sorry, we are not a catering company. If you don't like free snacks, feel free to go to McDonalds.
Our award certificates are actually printed at FedEx Prints and the frames that we put them in ourselves so they wouldn't get ruined were purchased at Walmart.
You seem to do a lot of complaining about free things...

Beware of prestige talent: a fake agency that preys on innocent actors
So, I wanted to share my experience with Prestige Talent. A few months back, I got scammed by them, unfortunately. They make you pay for classes, which I didn't find out until later, and they aren't even SAG-AFTRA franchised. They are a fake agency that preys on people's dreams, and I don't want anyone else to fall for it. Sadly, even though my mother paid around $1,000 for classes, I learned the hard way that Prestige Talent is nothing but a scam.
When I did my research on this industry notorious for scammers, I discovered that they were not a legit agency. I did, however, end up landing my first contract with a real and franchised agency that really helped me succeed in the acting world. So, to save you all some time and money, don't get involved with a fake agency like Prestige Talent.
What's more is that they are based in Las Vegas, which is another red flag. I honestly don't think that the staff really knows that they're frauds. It's really sad that this kind of thing happens, but it does, and we need to be more careful about it. If you're thinking about signing up with Prestige Talent, please don't hesitate to ask me any questions - I would be happy to share what I went through so that you don't have to.
This person is not a client nor ever was a client of ours.
This person is claiming we are an agency... If we were an agency, why would we fly Hollywood Agents in to watch the showcases that our talent perform?
Yes, we are based out of Las Vegas, the entertainment capital of the world...
Everyone on our staff was/is a working actor/model in the industry.
This is just another story of a salty individual who thinks our taxes cover the costs associated with acting classes or the arts... Sorry to burst that bubble...
We can all take a moment and chuckle at their logic... Another fake post on this bogus website that allows anyone to post whatever they want...
Beware of prestige talent: a predatory agency taking advantage of aspiring actors
So, I stumbled on Prestige Talent's website (prestigetalent.la), and I gotta say, it's not looking good. From the get-go, it feels like they're just trying to take advantage of people who are chasing their dreams. And unfortunately, there are still people who fall for it.
I mean, come on. They're claiming that your child or young person is above average and just waiting to be discovered by Hollywood. It's the same old story that these kinds of agencies always pedal. As someone who's been in the industry for a while now, I can tell you that it's complete BS.
As a professional actor, producer and mentor, my advice to you is to stay far away from Prestige Talent. In fact, run, don't walk away from people like them. If you're serious about pursuing a career in entertainment, go to the Screen Actors Guild office in your local area and ask them if you should ever pay an agent.
You see, real talent agents and managers only get paid a percentage of what the artist earns. That's how it should be. But this company? They're nothing but a predatory scam, preying on people who are new to the industry or just don't know any better. It's incredibly sad to see that there are still thieves like this out there, trying to take advantage of people's hopes and dreams.
But I'm not going to stand for it. I'll do whatever I can to shut them down, to make sure that they can't hurt anyone else. So, to sum it up: stay away from Prestige Talent. They're not worth your time or your money.
Once again, another person who isn't and never was a client of ours.
Another smarty pants who calls us an agency...
You cannot make-up this kind of incompetence... These salty trolls mad about how their careers are going, get online and spew their toxicity anywhere they can post...
This person is mad our services have a cost... That's right folks, we don't work for free, just like you don't... Acting classes have a cost for that coaches time and materials... A 3,500 sf venue with stage, lighting, hot mics, seating, flying agents in from Hollywood, etc has a cost. Just like cheerleading, piano, science camp... But this genius assumes performing arts is covered by the government...
Again, if we were an agency, why would we have agents fly in to sign our aspiring actors and models?
Perhaps you master your craft instead of attacking programs that uplift and help aspiring actors and models.
We have way more success stories and testimonials than these handful of bogus non clients blogging about their failures in life.
Prestige talent's virtual acting classes: fun but lacking professional opportunities
So last summer, I signed my daughter up for the virtual acting classes offered by Prestige Talent instead of sending her to a regular summer camp. It was rather enjoyable and my daughter had a great time during the classes. At the end of the program, we got the chance to perform a showcase in Las Vegas and we made a whole road trip out of it. It was certainly a one-of-a-kind experience that we won't forget anytime soon.
However, I must say that I was quite disappointed after the showcase was over. Although my daughter received a "call back" from an agent, we never received any response even after I repeatedly followed all submission instructions provided. Additionally, we were never able to get any support or contact from Prestige Talent ever since. It seemed like all communication and support from Prestige Talent stopped once the showcase was over. Honestly, it left a sour taste in my mouth and it wasn't the experience I was hoping for.
That being said, the agents at the showcase were only limited to three individuals. One of them was a local talent agent, which doesn't do us much good since we were out of state. Another was a model agent, which was interesting, but not quite the avenue we wanted to take. And finally, the third was an agent who was looking to sign up participants for another more expensive showcase, which cost thousands of dollars. Consequently, it didn't really offer much of a chance for those who only participated in one of the programs.
In conclusion, Prestige Talent's offerings may suffice as a summer camp experience for aspiring actors, but it doesn't seem to deliver for those looking to pursue a professional acting career or secure potential jobs.
Then you keep coming back if you didn't get signed.
That is the beauty with Prestige Talent. You don't have to repay for another showcase or to meet agents.
Simply let us know you want to keep going.
We cannot force anyone to keep going...
The more the talent gets on stage and performs the better, the more agency exposure the better.
Some agencies may already have your Childs/performers look that they represent. No one can force an agency to sign you. That's why we say keep going! We've had kids do 3 or 4 showcases and see over 10 agents before they decided on their top agency.
We can lead you to the water, but you have to drink it...
If you'd like to do more showcases, feel free to reach out to us!
Warning: prestige talent is a scam - stay away and protect your dreams!
This company is a complete scam! They don't care about you or your dreams, all they care about is taking your money. You don't have to be a genius to know that these people are snake oil salesmen. There are plenty of better options out there that won't take advantage of you.
My recommendation? Study privately and get yourself on popular talent platforms like LA Casting, actors access, or backstage. These types of companies just want to suck your blood and drain your bank account dry.
And don't even get me started on the contracts they offer. I have two of them in my possession that request over $3000.00 from young people, and they could never deliver what was promised. It's absolutely outrageous. As someone who has been in the entertainment business for 40 years, I've seen countless companies like this prey on young hopefuls and subsequently destroy their dreams.
But here's the thing: I'm financially stable and not afraid to take action and expose this company for what it truly is. If they don't smarten up, they will soon see what happens when you mess with the wrong person. It's called fraud, with a capital F. So my advice to you all: stay away from Prestige Talent and don't let them take advantage of you!
Another non client talking about God knows what...
Waiting for you to put your money where your mouth is and 'expose' what you are looking for...
We've been around since 2002 and have hundreds and hundreds of success stories and have helped boost the self esteem/confidence of thousands of kids.
Less than 10 negative comments in 20 years is pretty impressive.
Feel free to look us up. See who our staff is & see a few of our success stories...
Ol' T. Effertz (cool stage name) in his 40 years in the entertainment industry has accomplished nothing, never booked one job, never represented by an agency and never helped someone else get their career started...
But he wants you to take his advice... LOL
