On June 19th, 2022, I visited the Piedmont hospital at 1412 Milstead Ave, Conyers, GA for breathing issues that is in conjunction with a car accident I sustained in 2020.
I submitted the bill to my insurance carrier for payment to the hospital. Even though the hospital made an adjustment to the balance owed, the insurance carrier, however, made full payment to the hospital which resulted in a credit balance of $2,176.24.
I have called Piedmont billing department, [protected] repeatedly and was told by Elaine that there would be an update as to when these funds would be distributed in 24 hours. That was four weeks ago!
I have also called several other contact numbers that were given to me; [protected], [protected] and was told the same complete nonsense!
I have asked several times to speak to a supervisor and was told by all of the employees that the supervisor is busy.
I understand that I am dealing with one of the worst states in America but I was hoping that someone would have some form of decency and respect to respond correctly to a former patient. If there is truly a supervisor, you should be ashamed of yourself and I hope that that the good Lord would show you all the same favor you have shown me!
YOU CANNOT KEEP THESE FUNDS FOREVER.
