We entered into a contract on August 19, and the work was completed on July 23
We entered into a contract on August 19, and the work was completed on July 23. There are multiple problems with the work, and the contractor refuses to come out and fix them. The master bathroom shower stall grout is coming out, and there was never enough grout put into the floor tiles. The master bathroom toilet is leaking from underneath the toilet. The windows are not of "replacement window" quality and they leak. Mr. Pickett was supposed to replace the sashes in five windows and only replaced them in two windows. The kitchen floor is uneven in many places. The panel on the back of the kitchen bar is not attached along the top and is sagging. The kitchen cabinet hardware needs to be replaced or adjusted on four drawers and two cabinet doors. The basement is not waterproof at all. The paint is poor with many streaks, drips, lines, and imperfections showing through. The shoe molding is not nailed against the baseboards in many places.
