We had an incident whereby my daughter's vehicle was broken at a parking area. The insurance claim was submitted. Jacques Steenkamp, at the PG Glass Durbanville Branch, promised the window would be at the branch by the end of that week. It was coming from JHB. She had to phone every day to confirm. At the end of the week, no window with an excuse the truck left early. Next week it would have been there. Again we have waited. Next excuse was the trucks left early due to Public Holidays and it was never loaded. We have phoned the entire week, nobody is picking up the lines in the office. I have managed to get hold of him on his mobile this morning. He told me he is not in the office and that I must phone the office. I told him to phone the office and phone me back. Still waiting. Is this the type of service you are offering? Then surely we must inform the insurance companies to refer us to better service providers. This is absolutely ridiculous. I must add that they have eventually fitted a silicone window, as she had to go away, but this cannot be driven and parked in open spaces and it makes it difficult to use the car at all. What is the next excuse? The office was phoned during the week to query the state of affairs, without anybody answering it. And NO, LOADSHEDDING HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT, AS WE HAVE PHONED WHEN THE POWER WAS ON IN THE AREA. Can I get an urgent response or I will go hire a vehicle and send the bill to the branch. Your service is, the least to say, non-existing.
