Thursday May 25, 2023 8:45 p.m. I took my Bichon Frise dog for a bath and grooming at Pet Smart store #2298 4218 E. Bluegrass Rd. Mount Pleasant, MI.

48858. I bathed my dog the night before brushed and combed her for hours to remove mats and blow dried her. Then in the morning I brushed and combed her for 2 1/2 hours. I had got out almost all of her mats. Took my dog to be groomed at 5:45 p.m. Was told they might have to shave her I asked that that they do not shave her all the way down. I picked her up at 8:45 p.m. To say I was shocked would be an understatement I was devastated they shaved her into a dog I did not recognize. Practically bald. I know her mats were not that bad. I can not figure out how it could take that long to shave her down to nothing. Then the Groomer Christian says "At least I saved her tail" I had to leave I was upset crying on the way home. My poor dog cannot stop whining and itching rather it's from razor burn or products they used. I said it sucks when I left never getting her groomed here again! Trying to control my disappointment and shock! I was shaking and upset. I know for a fact that all the brushing and combing I did she could of been left some hair. Her harness no longer fits cause all her hair was gone. You can not even tell what kind of dog she is so sad. She is a registered full breed Bichon Frise AKA championship breed. What they did to my poor dog is inexcusable! She is upset itching whining like crazy hiding and very nervous. I do not have to tell you she will never get groomed at Pet Smart again!

Desired Outcome

First the refund of $36.50 for the "grooming" session, second monetary compensation for the disastrous results which will take months for her hair to grow back if ever! Time will tell. I am so heartbroken for trusting them with my fur baby!
