This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I ordered from peach direct on December 9th, 2006. I ordered 2 xbox 360's and a 19inch HP computer monitor. My order status has been order pending shipment for 2 weeks. So I started to get suspicious and did a search on the company name. After reading all of the complaints about the company not shipping your order and all of the run around they give you and all of the excuses and lies, I called peach direct. They started feeding me the lies that I read they gave other customers. When I brought this to the customer service rep's attention, she immediately began to get nasty with me. Saying that the disclosure says that it will take 3 business weeks, then 21 days, then it will be shipped by the 3rd week (not business week). When I asked her why they are lying to their customers and telling them 2-3 weeks, and their disclosure says something else, she refused to answer me. When I requested to talk to a supervisor, she put me on hold, and came back on giving me another lie, and refused to let me speak with a supervisor. When I told her that was fine, I would call back later, and in the mean time I would call my attorney. She started yelling and I hung up. I will call back later, and I will continue to call daily or even a couple times a day. Don't get sucked in! If you get a letter or approval throw it AWAY!

I would like to share with all you folks who have been victims of Peach Direct my story. Hopefully anyone considering doing business with Peach Direct will reconsider.

Back in September of 06 I accepted Peach Direct's zero percent offer. I ordered numerous items. Everything was to my liking except the computer. I was sent a computer that was certainly not equal or greater value, I was sent a piece of crap that might be acceptable for a child of age 11. That same day, I called the company and explained the situation. They claimed they would send out return shipping labels. Two weeks passed and no shipping labels. I called again and was told they would send them out. This went on for about 5 months and well over 20 long calls. Finally one day I received the shipping labels. Guess what? The shipping labels had expired 2 days before they even arrived in my mailbox. More phone calls and more waiting... NOTHING from Peach Direct. Well, my recent bill came in and the zero percent offer has now expired... Hello Deferred interest! The computer is still in it's box, never been used and I continue to call every two weeks hoping for them to do the right thing. I've emailed dkim@Peachdirect and as I suspected, haven't heard a thing from him. I have never in my life been treated like this from any company I've ever done business with and Peach Direct should be ashamed of themselves for ripping off their customers.

Good Luck to all you victims out there!

In early July I was solicited by your company for a pre-approved promotion to become a new customer with PD. I accepted the offer on Wednesday, 7/11/2007. As of Friday, 8/3 I had not received my order merchandise and was lied to by the contracted delivery vendor Kings Express which scheduled a date and time with me to deliver merchandise they had not received. This is most unprofessional and shady business practice I have ever encountered. In good faith I accepted an offer and by the 3 week deadline no one in your customer service department could provide any information regarding where the TV was, who was delivery it, and where it was coming from. When I demanded to speak with a call center supervisor to have this matter looked into further on 7/31 to my amazement and delight I got a call from the delivery company Kings Express @ 585.458.2192 on Wednesday, 8/1 at 9:25AM to schedule delivery. I asked for the earliest possible date and time and they set up Friday, 8/3 between 3 & 5. I TOOK TIME OFF WORK TO BE AVAILABLE FOR THAT BOGUS DELIVERY! I believe due to my complaint someone from your company sent them fax (Per Pat at that unprofessional, inept outfit you’ve contracted with) regarding the not receiving the TV. Due to this complaint delivery was scheduled the lasted date and time available, I’m sure hoping to have the TV by that time. If I had not called them after waiting an 1-hour 45 minutes... I’d still be waiting to hear from them) HORRIBLE.

This is the slowest, poorest and MOST shadiest service I have EVER received. Now you expect me to trust this company to call me and set up another date and time hoping they will show?!?!? If you were in my shoes would you continue to trust Peach Direct and the ### they decide to hire to provide merchandise that no one can locate, no one seems to where the merchandise is (BUT IT’S COMING…EVENTUALLY?!?). Yes, I have canceled the order due to obvious reasons. I DO NOT feel responsible for your shipping charge for an item that takes months to receive…I've gotten items on backorder quicker! Nor, should I be charge this 20% restock fee. ARE YOU CRAZY? I think they want you to cancel so you be charged these ridiculous fees for no product and yes, in the end this will hurt your credit rating. I wish I'd looked at this site before ordering... Because this company lacks sufficiently in delivering within a respectable manner and using a lying, deceitful manner to represent themselves providing “Affordable Luxury”.

Btw, LUXURY doesn't take over 3 weeks and counting... especially in stock luxury! I will be reporting you and that lying, scummy delivery company to the better business bureau. $300 for a TV you didn't get... WOW! What a joke! On me apparently! I'm going to fight it... we'll see what happens...

I ordered a dvd/vhs recorder from this company at the beginning of the year. I never got an acknowledgement or receipt in my email. Many times I checked the status "waiting to ship" and called them a few times to see what the hold up was. The so-called customer service rep, not only was rude but downright a b*****. She sternly said that it's ship when it's ready. Sure right...6 months later I finally receive it. I'll never do business with them again.

The dvd/vhs looked like it had it's share of abuse. It was a piece of junk-but no way I was gonna deal with them on that.
Just today 10/30 I received a returned receiptof an email I sent in March checking on the recorder and it was "UNREAD!" I couldn't believe it.

Ordered camcorder on 12/5 for Christmas. I found out on 12/13 when tracking was finally updated that it was backordered, but hey I am getting an empty case. It shipped and I am getting it on the 17th. When I spoke to customer service I have to admit she was very nice but could not help me at all. I asked for another product and have it expressed shipped so I can still give it to my wife for Christmas but was told they are not capable of doing that. Seems to have true customer service you need to go out of the box sometimes. Well I guess I need to go shopping now and make other arrangements.

Merry Christmas

I ordered a camcorder in December of 2005. They told me they would not ship for 3 weeks. I emailed and called the company to cancel the order. They sent the order 3 weeks later. I took the package back to the post office and returned it. I insured the package and I tracked it. I then continued on 6 different occasion to resolve this fraudulent intent to collect a debt that was not owed. I sent copies of the post office report showing the package had been received back at the point of origin. I disputed with all fo the credit reporting agencies and it was deleted from my account. They continue to contact me for payment even after having assured me that the matter would be taken care of on December 20, 2006. I continue to receive harassing letters and collections calls. I have filed complaints with both the Iowa and Florida State Attorney Generals for this predatory lending and harassment.

My name is Rosa Anderson, my husband Melvin is the original account holder. Melvin added my name through GE Capital, in addition to having a credit card issued. GE Capital verified I was authorized on the account Monday “March 5, 2008.”

I ordered and received a HP Pavilion Media Center on February 14, 2008. I had a programmer install my computer on March 3, the system went down, and my programmer "Rick" made contact with HP through a computer chat. The built-in system recovery did not work. Rick and I were referred back to Peach Direct, I was assured a system recovery disc would be mailed out on Monday, I also advised the CSR the monitor was incorrect, I requested a 22', I was assured a supervisor would get with e on Monday to resolve the issue. Monday I called and spoke to Eliser she refused to speak to me, stating I was not authorized on the account, I asked for her "LCOM" or "ACOM" Local or Area Manager, Eliser refused, she stated they were not available, which was a Blaydon "lie", because she never asked can I please get a call back number from you, and once my manager or supervisor is free they will make contact with you. Melvin and I called Monday evening, and spoke to Ali, she refused to assist me as well, I asked for her manager "Kevin", once again I was told the disk would be mailed and someone would make contact about the monitor. I emailed Peach Direct twice on Monday and once on Tuesday, as of today, no one has made one contact with Melvin and me to try and resolve the issue. I called Peach Direct on Thursday "Rosalyn" once again she would not speak to me, Melvin was past fed-up, he advised "Ali" to speak to me or send a return label for receipt of the computer. Without the 'System Recovery Disk, I'm not able to use the computer. I asked "Ali" for her LCOM or ACOM name, she refused to give me the name. I asked for a supervisor, I spoke to Bryan Fury, he referred me to HP, I asked for the Director of the center to send an email outlining the horrific chain of events, and he refused as well. I called HP and spoke to Peter he stated he don’t know why Bryan/Peach Direct referred me to HP about swapping monitors, I would have to go back through Peach Direct.

I will be forwarding a copy of this email to the Utility Commission as well. I work for a prominent telecommunication company; this by far is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. Your customer service reps and managers are constantly giving out felonious and erroneous information. On the main Peach Direct Site: under Complaints, you have the audacity to say: "Customer Satisfaction" that is truly a travesty.

In my last comments I forgot to mention that their is also something wrong with my computer,
but if you take a look at my last comments you can probably see that for yourself. I didn't type it
like that, but after a year and reading about everyone elses comments about returning items, I
think I'll just have it repaired. good luck everyone.

I bought a computer and monitor from peach direct july 2007, both were to have $50 rebate, they
sent both items but told me I couldn't have the rebate on the computer because they didn't have
the model I had ordered. A year of calling weekly and many lies later I was told I would get my
rebate and a web cam free for my trouble. months later still no rebate and no camera, so I contacted
the better business bureau in Cal. and pd finally credited my acct. and sent me the camera. So
after that I didn't pay much attention to my balance after that (stupid me), I just noticed that my
balance with GE is more than I origanally paid for the products. This is a year later, they must have
charged me for the web cam they were forced to send me. Now I have to go back to the bbb to get this
straightened out. They have been my worst nightmare. Maybe some of you got lucky with this company but if I were thinking of doing business with they, I would think twice.

I ordered from Peach Direct Christmas 2007 with the pre-approved credit card I received and I got all my products in a timely fashion and have had no problems with the products or the card. I paid off everything within 6 months and they canceled the card for some reason but I still got what I paid for. I guess I was one of the lucky ones.

I order a lot through the web abd had one of my better experiences with peach direct. I've been reading these comments and they sound like immature personal attacks. Some people even claim to be former employees. Don't waste my time, just grow up and either pay your bills or learn to keep a job!

I bought a computer screen and an ipod for my daughter on two different occasions from Peach Direct. I must say in their defence, that I am very, very pleased with their service. My shipment came in a timely manner and everything is fine. I am very shocked though to hear all the bad reviews from customers about PeachDirect service.

I came on line this morning to order a plasma tv from them, and now must say I am very confused with my decision to place a third order.

I wont disclose my decision, but must say to Peach Direct..."CLEAN UP YOUR ACT OR YOU WILL BE OUT OF BUSINESS BEFORE YOU KNOW IT".

I also have had problems with Peach Direct. I ordered a phone which is defective, then I ordered a DVD player which has a loud buzz. Then ordered a camcorder which arrived defective. It was a christmas present to my husband. When he opened it, it did not work. They said that since it had been 8 days since shipment that I could not return it. I went off the deep end with them. I told them that I would return the item and they would give me a refund. They offered to give me 75.00 refund and then I could send it to JVC which is the people who the camcorder was made by. I told them NO I did not order the camcorder from JVC, I ordered it from them and I wanted a full refund, I did not want the product since it was defective. I am still waiting for my 48 hr reply from the management. I am not going to allow them to screw me anymore. I am done with this company. They do bad business. I would love to get enough people together to put this company out of business. They are taking advantage of innocent people. I am not a person they want to cross.

I have to say that my experience with peach direct was excellent. I placed my order almost 2 weeks ago, and I have everything in my house for christmas already. I ordered three items, and were shipped fast, and were exactly what I had purchased when I placed my order over the phone. I was able to track my packages on their website, and am very pleased and will do business with them in the future.

I ordered three items. A Bose 1-2-3 system, and iPod and a Bose iPod Sound Doc. The iPod went on long term back order. The iPod doc was never delivered, and the Bose 1-2-3 was refurbished. I was billed for all three. I called and told them of the problems and was given a 50.00 reduction on the 1-2-3. It worked fine, so I figured it wasn't worth returning. I was also told that the remaining charges would be deducted from my account. That was back in May of 2007.

The iPod was taken off my account and a credit given in late July. The Sound Doc remained. In spite of NUMEROUS calls to Peach, who told me to call GE Money, who in turn told me to call Peach again, and back and forth, the item remained as a charge on my account. Finally, UPS got into the loop and I had a security claim put in to them. They told Peach that the item was not properly delivered (it required a signature but they just left it) and told them UPS insurance would cover the item. This, by the way, was supposed to be resolved by Peach way back in June. The kept telling me they put the claim in to UPS, but evidently they never did. Finally, in mid November, the charge came off my account. But the interest they charged did not. I had to battle with them over that.

There are no deals to be had on Peach. They charge you as much or sometimes more than other retailers. They charge ridiculous shipping fees, much more than the actual justified S&H, and take weeks or longer to deliver the items ordered. I did not find customer service to be rude, but I did find that they do not deliver on their promises, and that there was very little accountability.

My GE Money account is now back to "normal." The correct charges appear there. I have a sizable amount of available credit. But I will not be using it. GE Money you see is also a scam. Between the two of them, I found this simple purchase to be one of the most annoying things I've ever done. GE Money is the bank on several other of my retail accounts. I have closed them all. Companies like this love to tell how valuable you are as a customer. But they have a huge problem in delivering the appreciation.

Who needs it...

I also received a pre approved card from PD. I have not used it because of some of the postings that appear on this site and other message boards. I checked them out because I had not heard of them. I had some negative credit due to health problems, and have sense cleared them up, so I was surprised to see that I was pre approved for a $2300.00 credit limit. Upon researching their products, I noticed that their prices were somewhat higher than other online stores. As far as interest rates go...I think most department stores are just as high. I have yet to order from this company because of their policy for substituting merchandise at their discretion. I think the customer should have the choice to accept or decline any substitution. The good thing about having their card is (as another person here said), it does help to raise your credit score. You don't have to use the card to get a higher credit score either. Having an account open with a zero balance helps too.

Like everyone else I got a preapproved letter from Peach Direct and decided to do some research since I have never heard of the company before. I was shocked to see this many complaints but I still went ahead and ordered a flat screen TV. I placed my order on October 31st to give myself enough time for Christmas however the TV was delivered exactly in three weeks. I just want to say that I am one of the luckiest one that didn’t experience any difficulties with the company.

This company is crooked as it can be, i wish i had never heard of it, in jan 0f this yr i got a catalog thru the mai that i could order a tv, 12 months no interest and no tax.

I ordered the tv and the nightmare began, they told me one lie after the other, they were rude, and finally after 6 months they said the tv was shipped to the wrong place, and they would replace thr 42 inch plasma tv with another brand and refund my shipping until this date i have received to credit of any kind. They keep saying that they will contact their executive offices, which i believe isd non existent, every time you call it their voice message box is full.

I believe that i deserve some compensation, and the tv is not the brand that i originally ordered. Also they said i would have to pay interest because the promotion had run out, i contacted the ban where the payments went and they were upset, they said they would see that i got a full yr no interest but after almost a yr, the shipping charges have not been canceled.

I am a sr citizen on a fixed income, and i know that i have been ripped off, but do not know what to do about it. Thank you for letting me post this, and now i wonder where this merchandise came from, out of the back of a truck or the trunk of someone's car. Thank you again.

I ordered from the catalog sent to me with the approval. Finally received a bill costing about 200.00 dollars more. When I called to ask why? They said my catalog was old and that the price had increased. I am begging anyone out there to please not get involved with this company, they are the worst. They are no different than someone stealing from a jewelry store. Please as consumer we have to be smarter and work together to get Peach Direct closed down. They have focus on the poor and the needy.

Well, the major thing I see here is, most of you ordered your stuff around X-mas. Last year, nobody had an XBOX 360 till February. Then you were lucky. I had an XBOX on back order from BEST BUY till the end of February. That is not Peach Directs fault. A lot of people need to take that under consideration. The warehouses they get stuff from (Vendors) are shipping thousands of items a week. You are 1 person and there are probably 10,000 people that had place the same orders during that time of year.

Just something to think about. Around November to February, I have always had to wait for my stuff when I order on-line. That is just the way it works.

If you also don't like the interest rates, do finance through them. You don't see Best Buy or Circuit city cards at 7% or 9%.. The standard rate for any electronic store is 19 - 23% That is why you use your Visa or Master Card. I have a Peach Card and I have a Best Buy Card. My Peach is 21%, Best Buy is 19% but my Visa and Master Cards are 5.9 - 9.9%...

Stop complain and do the math. Every company will have the problems. Look at the complaints on Best Buy. They are a good solid company, but some one is always going to complain because their experience was bad.

Just think twice before you rip a company apart. Think of the timing of the order.

I have seen a lot of complaints about this company, but I saw some good ones, too. I was hesitant to order from them, but my fiancee and I found my engagement ring online. It is more beautiful than any other ring like it that I have tried on - and it appraised at 2 times what we paid. I am not an employee of them, I wanted others to know my experience. The ring was ordered on 9/28. We received it on 10/5. It was shipped 2 day air by UPS and insured. The only complaint I have is the website. They showed it was backordered and that it didn't ship until 10/16. When I pulled up the order and looked at the tracking, it showed the correct information of being delivered on 10-5-07. They need to have more updated information on the order status - but I got it faster than promised, and I am very happy with them. I haven't received a bill yet, so I was not billed for something I didn't receive.

I ordered a plasma tv and it arrived two weeks later as was stated to me. The tv needed repair the first five months. The problem was I paid $1500 for a tv that broke within five months. The service man came within two days of complaint but he kicker...when he left the picture was off to the right on all channels. Now I have to call again for a service man. This is the pits!

Thank you all for sharing your experiences and comments.

At Peach Direct, we take our customer's and customer service very seriously. In fact, it is so important to us that we have created a department entirely dedicated to proactively reaching out to any and all who may have unresolved issues. Surprisingly, many people do not reply. If you have been contacted or have any unresolved issues (or would simply like to contact us with questions or concerns) please do not hesitate to contact me directly at dkim@peachdirect.com, so that we may identify the problem and quickly resolve them.

I think the reason they take so long is they don't actually warehouse any of their products! They use random drop shippers to do it for them! After finding this out, and how much they make on just the product, we decided to goto Best Buy and got a Best Buy card with 0 interest until 2010 on my 42" plasma. LOVE IT!

Peach Direct is nothing but a bait and switch company. They are the worst company i have ever dealt with. Their customer service, HA, there is no customer service. The people who answer there phones are nothing but scam artist and liars. They make you think you are getting a good product for a good deal, but that is crap. When you call to check status on you order that has been pending for a month or more, you come to find out that the product you ordered does not exist anymore. And they will try to feed you a ton BS. If you have read some of these reports and think that Dean KIm (dkim@peachdirect) is your answer, get ready for the roller coaster ride. He is more full of crap than any one at the company. So please do not use this company, Go to Best Buy, Circut City anywhere BUT Peach Direct it is for your own good! If you call customer service don't talk with Ray Caesar or Erica Castle. They are rude as can be!

I've had an account with them for a few months now and I will admit they are definitely slow on the shipping thing, but I've always gotten what I ordered. I've even canceled 2 orders because I changed my mind and the credit was reflected immediately on the GEMB website. I was concerned when I ordered the first time and then read this board, but I've had a decent experience with them so far and like many others here, I wouldn't probably have been financed elsewhere.

I definitely sympathize with those of you who have had a bad experience, but maybe they just had a tough time during the holidays? I don't know.

On 5/13/07, I ordered an IPOD for my daughter. When it was not received in 3 weeks, I cancelled my order. 2 days later the IPOD arrived. I refused delivery. Now, the charge is still on my credit card and PEACH has confirmed that they received the item I sent back but it would take a couple months to credit my account. WHY?
