I am a 74 year old disabled, in a wheelchair, Viet Nam veteran and on Memorial day 5/27/2019 went into Pat Peck Honda to look for a new Odyssey. I needed a van to accommodate my wheelchair. I received a quote from Pat Peck through True Car saying my cost would be $5000.00 off MSRP. After they appraised my 2017 Ram and we arrived at a $27, 000.00 trade in allowance the manager said the best he could do was about $1000.00 more than Pat Peck quoted. The business manager told me my payments would be about $100.00 per month more than I was paying. I thought we were talking 60 months but he had added $4860.00 more for extended warranties etc and failed to ask me if I wanted these insurance policies. The contract read 72 months not 60. Because I had just had detached retina eye surgery I could not see that I was signing for more than I wanted. I sent Pat Peck a registered letter cancelling these expensive insurance policies but today they chose to ignore my wishes and had Honda sent me unwanted policies. I guess this is the way Veterans are treated at Pat Peck on Memorial day.
