Hi, I’m working with an investigative journalist looking into B.Stapleton and what appears to be a history of scams/fraudulent activity for a potential new docuseries. It’s early days but there are a number of people we’re in touch with who have many a claim against him (mostly from the last 5 years) and it’s shaping up to be quite the interesting story…

If any of you would be open to sharing your experiences with Mr.Stapleton please get in touch. It would be fascinating to dive deeper into this and see where it leads. Perhaps, if it’s true, the exposure will protect others from him in the future.

These guys are frauds, they owe me 4000euro. They tell you to give them a deposit and use there solicitors, who get you to sign a deposit agreement whichmeans nothing, then when you are back in the UK. The solicitors deny you ever signed anything, and steal your money. Do not go to Spain to buy a bar they are all frauds, the Spanish economy is finished, not many Brits spending money. KEEP AWAY FROM PARASOL PROPERTIES. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY.

No doubt he will emerge in the name of someone else and complete his cycle of metamorphosis yet again! If you take the time to follow the story of George Roberts (aka Julia Grant) you will know that he/she/it is neither Male nor Female in genitalia... not a true Transsexual. Further it is not surprising that finally he/she/it has come a cropper with dodgy financial practice.

I think this thread may have gotten a little side tracked, but as it also concerns Parasol, I don’t really see what your issue is. If you have issues with or only interested in Parasol, enlighten us all please instead of just complaining about other posts. From what I see here, there are only a few people posting here and one other person complaining about them, namely “complainspain”. With a username like that maybe you are just a serial complainer about anything to do with Spain.

I have just been reading over Stapletons post from October and thought it would be a good idea to bring everyone upto date on what the ### has been upto On the 4th of October mr. Stapleton made these comments... 4th of Oct, 2012 by mr stapleton "My name is Bernard stapleton...there is a court case in November which is dealing with the break in at the celtic tavern and the theft of goods and alcohol owned by myself." YOUR A LYING ###...this court case was about false threats and with all your fking bravado, you never turned up on the day causing the judge to drop any charges and instruct to reverse them on you for makin a false statement... More of your pathetic lies as has already been said... "All the other posts with reference to myself is also being investigated by the spanish police..." TODAY I HAVE BEEN TO THE POLICE ... ON LEGAL ADVICE TO DO A DENUNCIA AGAINST A FORMER EMPLOYEE .

WHEN I OWNED THE HOLLYWOOD SHOWBAR IN LA CALA THIS EMPLOYEE WORKED FOR ME AS A MANAGER. DURING THAT TIME THE BAR WAS BROKEN INTO... FRONT DOORS WERE FORCED BUT CONVIENIENTLY KEYS TO THE BACK DOORS WERE USED.

A LOT OF OLD LIGHT AND SOUND EQUIPMENT WAS STOLEN THAT HAD NOT BEEN USED IN THE ORIGINAL INSTALATION AS I USED ALL NEW EQUIPMENT AT THE HOLLYWOOD.

BEFORE THE BREAK IN AT THE HOLLYWOOD I MOVED ALL THE NEW EQUIPMENT TO ANOTHER BAR. THE POLICE INVESTIGATED THE THEFT I ALSO CONTACTED MY INSURANCE COMPANY... BUT I DID NOT PURSUE ANY CLAIM AS THEY NEEDED RECIEPTS FOR PROPERTY THAT WAS ABOUT 10 YEARS OLD... SO I DID NOT PURSUE THE INSURANCE CLAIM... IN ANY WAY.
THAT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BY THE POLICE.

HOWEVER A FEW DAYS LATER THE BAR WAS BROKEN INTO AGAIN AND THE THIEVES STOLE ALL THE CATERING EQUIPMENT FROM THE KITCHEN...
VALUED AT APPROX 12, 000.00 EUROS . I HAVE SINCE FOUND OUT IT WAS NOT STOLEN... IT WAS SOLD FOR 1500.00 EUROS

APPARENTLY THE EQUIPMENT WAS SOLD TO A CATERING SUPPLY COMPANY. WHO HAVE TODAY CONFIRMED THAT THEY BOUGHT THE CATERING EQUIPMENT. ALSO WHO THEY BOUGHT IT FROM. ... I HAD NO KNOWLEDGE THAT THE CATERING EQUIPMENT HAD BEEN SOLD. SO THERE WAS NO SECOND BREAK IN ... THE CATERING EQUIPMENT WAS STOLEN AND SOLD. THE DENUNCIA IS NOW IN THE COURT WAITING TO BE SERVED ON THE GUILTY PARTY... THIS OF COURSE IS THEFT AND WILL MEAN A PENAL SENTENCE WILL BE AWARDED TO THE THIEF.

THIS NOW BRINGS INTO MIND THE ORIGINAL BREAK IN... WAS THERE EVEN A BREAK IN AT ALL ... OR WAS ALL THAT EQUIPMENT SOLD ALSO ... THE INVESTIGATION WILL NOW CONTINUE. I AM SURE THE POLICE WILL NOW ESTABLISH THE FACTS OF THIS CASE.

I HAVE BEEN ASSURED THAT THE PAPERS ARE NOW WITH THE COURT. STATEMENTS FROM OTHER WITNESSES HAVE BEEN TAKEN AND THE CASE WILL BE HEARD IN APPROX 3/4 WEEKS ONCE THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE HAS BEEN ARRESTED AND CHARGED.

I HAVE CERTAINLY LEARNED ABOUT TRUST OVER THE PAST YEAR... BUT THE TRUTH WILL NOW OUT AND THE CORRECT PENALTIES ISSUED. IT IS A SAD WORLD WE LIVE IN.

My property can be returned back to me at any time my phone number is still the same Bernard because i will pursue you to the bitter end. Telling people you are going to Thailand soon doesnt help your case at all. I will track you down and breaking a protection order would mean you would be returned back to benidorm. F/B is such a wonderful thing for tracking people down.

Locally you are in trouble all the debts you have accumilated... VAT TAXES SOCIAL SECURITY ect ect ect not looking good and when the money isnt there to by charlie you will have personal problems also

So the police are keeping an eye out for him at N.W.`s Family home. also an appartment above Rays Chippy at the bottom of the Mediteranoe and an apartment above Calle Londres were he is often seen. Also the DINER were i have seen him twice in the last 7 days. If anyone is aware where he is residing please advise as some of the stolen property he is holding is being stored there. If the court decide to ship him back to IRELAND then they must deal with my case which could be as early as next week.
Fortunately all my property is now protected by a Court Order and if it is damaged or sold there will be a big price to pay and he could serve time before he is sent back to face trial in IRELAND Running debts up with his Fish Business. Nightclub and Pub have acumilated to debts of over 100.000.

things are moving pretty quickly I will try to explain

A court date for case number 2 was set for the 29th November
Bernard Stapleton did not however turn up at the Court and the case was thrown out of the court with the Judge advising that the case can not be relisted. The advise from the Judge was to go back to the police station and when we got there the police were expecting us and they reversed the denuncia against Bernard Stapleton so he now faces charges on that matter.

It was a shame he didnt turn up as 2 of his creditors were there between them with debts of over 30.000 Euros that they wanted to present to the court. They have asked the Court to listen to their case and remain in Benidorm to see the Judge on Friday.
The Judge has said that the court will listen to the case

I believe that they are going to ask for an extradition order as they had County Court judgements against Bernard Stapleton. 2 Police officers were also there waiting to interview him. The judge asked for his residential address so a warrent can be issued but more about that later APOLOGISES THIS WILL TAKE 3/4 messages
The Police told the Judge that they had asked for his residential address several times over the last few months

For the people more interested in Parasol than Bernard Stapleton over 34 cases now registered for investigation... keep them coming especially when you have later found out that you didnt recieve the full sale price as 1.000s were skimmed off

A court date for the 29th November was set to hear case 1 and BERNARD STAPLETON did not show at court.

That was a shame really as 2 of his debtors were in court with County Court JUDGEMENTS against him totalling over 30.000 euros
The company officials are still here seeking an extradition order back to Ireland so he can be dealt with there. there are waiting for a date with the Judge handling the case.
The case just dropped cannot be relisted on the advise of the judge.

2 policemen were waiting in court for BERNARD STAPLETON to show up. The Judge ordered all charges to be dropped on case 1 and advised that the co defendant return
back to the police and reverse the denuncia against BERNARD STAPLETON the police were fully aware of the situation when we went back to the main police station. The Judge asked for BERNARD STAPLETON residential address so warrents can be issued. He has been asked to give the police his registered address for the past three months so the police are taking this very seriously.as he has not complied

So if anyone knows were he is currently residing please advise. i believe the police are watching N.W.`s family home. An apartment above Rays Chippy also an apartment at the top of the Calle Londres area where he is often seen. They are also watching a DINER where i saw him twice last week.

Good news is the Judge handling case 2 is the same judge who believe me is not happy. I think the date was set for March but the judge has advised that the case be brought forward and listed ASAP. So the next 14 days should see the end of this farce.
If an extradition order is to be granted by the court they will have to listen to case 2 before he leaves spain.

My property is now protected by the Court and if it is damaged or sold fraud charges will be issued where ever he disappears to and i will continue to pursue him. Telling people hes moving to Thailand wont help him either. Because he would be pursues by the Court..

THIS HAS ALL GONE A BIT OFF TOPIC This seems to have go a bit off topic and has become the Julia V Bernard show whoever they are! Whilst it makes interesting and very funny reading few people actually care. The orignal complaint was about Parasol Benidorm and their imaginative "tell them anything to get a sale" way of doing business. Of course htis ok when selling a new car, but not when taking peoples life savings.

The reality is that all agents want to earn money and all sellers are always full of bull when it comes to the reality of how much a bar is taking. If you are buying then trust nobody, accept that everything you are told is likely to be embelished beyond all reason and get a bloody solicitor not some joker called Brian or Bob recommended by the seller or agent. The bloke selling does not care about you and is not your friend and the agent cares even less and will not be there after you have signed on the dotted line, you are on your own. If a bar is making money then it should be able to prove it, of course the agent or nice man selling saying it takes loads is no proof.
