OneShare Health When I signed up with OneShare, they said that this Insurance was effective immediately

When I signed up with OneShare, they said that this Insurance was effective immediately. I received Bills from OneShare after I visited my primary physician, and they didn't cover any of my visits..When I called them, they stated that the coverage wouldn't begin until after 90 days. But, initially, when I purchased this plan, the Representative stated that my Insurance would begin immediately. I Believe that they are misleading people and taking their money, I cancelled after A few months. If you need Insurance, don't deal with this company, call A reputable company who can offer you good coverage.

My family and I have been with OneShare for the last 2 years. They have paid all doctors and lab results as specified in their contract. There were some tests they didn't pay for but my doctor's office let me know OneShare wouldn't pay ahead of time so no surprises.

It's hard to get a representative that can answer a question. Some reps are so impolite its hard to have a conversation and some have a strategy that if they can't answer a question they just stop talking so you're forced to hang up and call back in. Since they can't hang up themselves they just go radio silent. One of my recent bad experiences is One Share is requesting medical records from my previous insurer who not only does not have them (they're an insurance company) but also wasn't even covering me for the claim under review. So I'm waiting on a previous insurance company to tell One share this just to move my claim forward. Problem is its been 7 months and the issue is about to be sent to a collection agency all because One Share has themselves stuck. I would not recommend this business and I hope One Share does something with my claim before it goes to colletion.

I cancelled my policy with One Share Health on 11/3021. It is March 2022 and I am still getting billed by one of their affiliates! Make sure you put a stop on all charges from your credit card once you terminate your policy otherwise you will have the same issue!

Nice concept but in reality the only sharing is our paying them. They didn't even cover any of my husband's emergency gall bladder removal. Some of it actually came back saying pre-existing condition. Everyone is born with a gallbladder, are you kidding me! In the years I've been a member they've paid out less that 1% we've paid in.

OneShare Health DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I signed up December 15 .. and they are DENYING my entire pregnancy saying I conceived December 14. I kid you not! They won't cover any ultra sounds, blood work, or office visits from my doctor. YOU CAN'T GET THEM ON THE PHONE EITHER. Do yourself a favor and pick out a Marketplace plan. SAVE YOUR MONEY! The only thing they WILL DO is try their hardest to not help you! I'm also concerned as to why a Health insurance specialist would even recommend a program like this seeing as this is the result from all the reviews I'm reading... Willing to file for lawsuits if I have to!

This One Share Health is a SCAM! They hide behind their Christian Faith. They are wonderful when you are signing up with them telling you everything that is covered. I am a healthy person in my 60s have yearly well check ups, 5 year colonoscopy's, Yearly Gynecology exams, Mammograms to find out they paid NOTHING. When you call, if your lucky enough to speak to someone- that someone sounds like she just answered the phone in her home and tells you that they are waiting for more information. They just keep on stalling until you get a letter saying that Sorry this is not covered. Or this has gone beyond the timely manner!People go with a reputable Insurance Company! Pay a little more in premiums so your not left with a stack of bills like I have. This company needs to be closed down!

My family and I have had the most horrible experience with Oneshare health. When I had my baby, I had to prove repeatedly in paperwork that she was not a pre-existing condition. If anyone over there would do the math they would effortlessly see that we had been members for at least six months prior to becoming pregnant. Instead, they loaded me up with repeated paperwork. Then came the really fun part. For the next 17 months after giving birth, I must have called or emailed them hundreds of times. Some of the time they would say they couldn't find me in their system, or they would say they need more paperwork, or they would say the paperwork from the hospital was wrong or they would say a check's in the mail. It was only after I went on social media did they start to work with me. It was horrible. Here I am With a new baby, owing $12,000 to a hospital and doctors and Oneshare health is giving me the runaround! I filled out their forms, I repeatedly got medical paperwork for them, I did every single thing I could on my end to get this right, and they just gave us the runaround. Even my agency that signed me up with them was mind blown and dumbfounded at how ridiculous this was. Now, I still have outstanding bills at four other medical providers, for well women visits and my baby's immunizations, all which are supposed to be paid, and Oneshare health is giving the runaround to all of them. One of my medical providers submitted the claim 39 times and never received acknowledgment. Another one of my medical providers said Oneshare told them we're not in their system. This company should not be allowed in any state. My family and I can financially survive this, but I have heard some terrible stories from other former Oneshare members who are losing everything due to this company, and it is utterly heartbreaking.

Beware of this company they are a scam! They are a big lie. This company denied me a med check visit and told me I would be responsible for $450. According to the plan I had, it should have been $20. ,the customer service is a joke. Please stay away from this company. I just switched and I am paying a lot less with another company.

THI IS A SCAM. I have emails & text from a regional director saying I would have my $1000 preventative procedure covered. You are given $1000/year for this. Now they won't pay saying it was "diagnostic". SCAM, SCAM, SCAM... they cover nothing!

I, like other customers of members of One Share have been completely mislead and scammed by this organization and the insurance brokers that represent them. I am now stuck with a $1000 bill because of the 90 day no benefits clause that was stuck in fine print in the contract. This was never stated in the welcome call and the broker actually sold us this saying that the coverage was immediate. Once we dropped the plan, she stopped fighting for our rights. We also spoke with the concierge to make sure that coverage would apply and it was never mentioned to us during this opportunity either. DO NOT USE THIS FRAUDULENT BUSINESS! TERRIBLE.

This company is a scam or at least they're so incompetent that they come off that way. After paying $5,000 in premiums for what I was told was a solid health plan, they've covered nothing through the first half of my pregnancy, so I left. I'm still battling them to get them to pay my doctor and it's been 6 months since I cancelled. They're impossible to get straight answers from, their incompetent team members keep you on hold for 15-30 minutes at a time only to tell you they still haven't figured out the issue with a claim. I've filed 3 claims with them for 2 bills, only for them to close the claims without notifying me and without any explanation. I just paid hundreds to my doctor for bills that should have been paid by one share. Stay away. I know an agent personally who has been selling their plans and even they're ditching one share after several of their clients complained about the same issues. I've also been told I'd be called by 5 times by 5 different people and not one person has EVER called me.

I wanted to believe this coop plan was a solid option for our family being that we moved from a corporate paid insurance plan to self-employed. We were sold on the plan because the agent boasted about how ALL preventative care was covered. We have two children and this was a big deal for us. We decided to take the leap and joined! Our premium was $763 per month for the whole family - so we paid $9,156 for 2020. They barely covered ANY of my 1-year-olds preventative care visits and we were left with a $1400 bill by the end of the year. I would love to say that this "faith-based" health plan was reputable but they are just as unreliable and corrupt as the rest of the insurance industry. Do yourself a favor and go with a real insurance carrier. The cost is higher but at least they cover what they promise. Thank goodness we didn't have to visit the emergency room or had any other serious healthcare needs. The costs would have been astronomical! Stay away unless you want to pay into something with little to no benefits.

OneShare Health My wife and I paid about $620/mo for 'coverage' for just over a year

My wife and I paid about $620/mo for 'coverage' for just over a year. We are a healthy family and go to the doctor MAYBE 4 times a year for checkups, etc. When my daughter was born in October (100% normal birth, no complications), we were shocked to receive a total of $15,000 in medical bills AFTER OneShare Health's "negotiation and payments". Apparently they will only pay up to $5K per year, per family member for any medical expenses. Completely unacceptable. It would have been cheaper for us to be self pay. We would have saved $620/mo AND owed less in hospital bills. OneShare Health is a scam masquerading around as a "Christian company".

OneShare Health Please heed my warning: Avoid OneShare at all costs

Please heed my warning: Avoid OneShare at all costs. It's a scam. I'd give it no stars but I have to leave 1 to post this review. No doctor or hospital will bill them directly because they are NOT insurance. And the only way they'll "share" your expenses is if you prove you paid the balance in full. For me, thankfully, it was only a $70 flu shot that I'm out of pocket for. I'm sure many other have MUCH larger balances. Flu shot was administered in Oct. It's April. Still nothing back from them. And I call them every week. Apparently working from home in their bunny slippers has them really backed up on "share requests". Funny but if my "premium" was more than 30 days past due they'd drop me. But they'll get to MY request for funds sometime in the future, if they feel like it. I'm telling you DON'T DO IT, DON'T FALL FOR IT and AVOID THEM! If it's all you can afford, you're better off staying uninsured. The fact that they hide behind religion and the bible only makes it worse, and the folks at OneShare should be ashamed.

OneShare Health Our experience with OneShare was similar to other reviews on here

Our experience with OneShare was similar to other reviews on here. They make excuses to not cover anything (in our case pregnancy), such as saying it's a pre-existing condition. After calling them, they could not explain why and said they would review it. After several months, when they kept using the same excuse, we finally filed a dispute. After HOURS of phone calls, useless waiting and being led in circles, I was told they would uphold their decision. Yet the very same day, I got another call, and was told they would reverse their decision. They did hold good on that and paid the $5000 they were supposed to. Even so, I will give them the lowest rating possible because they are extremely difficult to work with and will do everything they possibly can to NOT help you. I believe they only paid us because I raised such a big stink and they are afraid they will get in a lawsuit and not be able to sell their pseudo-insurance in Virginia. They expressly state there is no guarantee you will receive any money, so take their own words and stay far away from this company. They profess to be Christians, but absolutely deny it with their deeds.

OneShare Health STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! DO NOT SIGN UP! The broker who signed me up lied 3x to get me to enroll. He told me that this company was in fact health insurance, with no waiting period, and covered all three of my doctors. I later found out that all three things were untrue. This is NOT a health insurance company. There IS A 90 DAY WAITING PERIOD before coverage begins. And NONE of my doctors were covered (One Share blamed that mistake on the doctors systems not being updated). Next a representative within One Share lied to me about my coverage. She told me that I would be absolutely covered if I went to one of their doctors. So I went to their doctors, and they still did not cover the fee. In fact, they have not covered one fee in 6 months. When I fired One Share, I called a new broker to get new insurance. The new broker told me that he used work with One Share, but will no longer will work with them because they were so terrible to their customers and to the doctors. This is supposed to be a ministry-driven organization. Instead of God, I experienced fraud. Not sure why Tim Tebow is associated with this organization. p.s. Jamal was the one shining light in One Share. He gave good customer service as he cancelled my account.

OneShare Health One Share Health refuses to pay for my medical bills!

One Share Health refuses to pay for my medical bills! I registered with One Share Oct 2019, at 484 dollars a month. Two months later I wasn't feeling well and I saw my doctor who ordered a complete blood work. The cost was $2800. One Share did not pay one dime. The Lab contacted me and informed me that if your insurance refuses to pay, the lab would consider me as non insured and give me a big discount. Of the $2800 they sent me a bill for $426. I was happy with their generosity! From Oct 2019, I had paid One Share about $4000 for my coverage and they had paid almost nothing for my doctor visits! Summer of 2020 I downgraded my coverage to ER and hospitalization for $205 a month. In early Sep I was feeling ill with virus symptoms and had my husband take me to the ER. Once there the doctor checked my temp, took my BP, listened to my heart, nothing more. He said I was fine, maybe a little stress. Four months ago One Share contacted me to inform me that I owed the hospital $ 776. A month later another statement that I owe $354. Last week yet another statement that I owe $300! When will this end? They refuse to pay anything! My coverage Id card states that I am responsible for $300 dollars for ER visit. If I owe more than that then they lied and or misled me. I want One Share to pay up for the ER visit. All owe the hospital is the $300 I'm responsible for! I feel that this business is out to make money! Their customer service is awful. They keep you waiting and then connect you to someone else who connects you to someone else. Bad service!

OneShare Health If I could leave less than one star I would

If I could leave less than one star I would. CONSUMERS, BE WARNED! After signing up with One Share Health in March, and subscribing to their top tier plan, they have proven to be a HUGE WASTE OF MONEY! I was told that with my plan, I could visit the ER and only have a maximum $300.00 co pay as long as I was out of the hospital within 24 hours, as I was on my visit last Thanksgiving day. I repeatedly submitted my billing. A few months later I was told that there was a challenge over a pre existing condition. The could not tell me who filed this, but after reading other customer complaints, this is their S.O.P. My doctors confirmed that there was no pre existing condition. In the meantime I was constantly asked to submit my billing, which had already been done. I was eventually told months later that things are being taken care of, which was just a huge lie and a tactic to keep collecting my monthly billing. I had to have a medical procedure in January and they have TOTALLY IGNORED those bills. Now that I have cancelled I am being totally ignored. They did contact me right after my cancellation by email and asked how they could help. I told them that they could pay my bills that they are on the hook for, after that. I have been totally ignored. The past few years I have worked hard on my credit to only have it ruined by One Share Heath. They are professionals at stalling things in order to keep collecting your money, to then screw you over in the end. In short, I can only say to PROTECT YOURSELVES AND DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE WITH THIS COMPANY!

OneShare Health We had OneShare Health for only a few months - and it was still too long - I got screwed

We had OneShare Health for only a few months - and it was still too long - I got screwed. During that time, only one of my doctors would even take it and in order to take it, the doctor's billing office needed to have a special call with the concierge at OneShare Health so they could explain how they work because on my medical card, it says "This is NOT insurance" which of course scares the heck out of any doctor. Most of my doctors are located within a highly reputable medical group in a well-known city, and this entire medical group would not take OneShare Health stating that they don't take any sharing ministries because, from a history of dealing with them, they too long to pay and don't reliably pay. My medical group told me I had to pay up front and file a claim. I was worried about that, not having any history with OneShare Health. But when my son was sick and I had to take him to his normal pediatrician for a test and check up, they would not take OneShare Health claiming that these types of 'ministry insurance sharing plans' take forever to pay. So I had to pay up front and thought, no problem, I'll just file a claim. I paid $165 up front for the doctor's visit and test to see if my son had strep throat. I immediately filed a claim with OneShare Health. But OneShare Health screwed up and repaid the doctor instead of me directly. Instead of rectifying the situation by cutting me a check, they had to wait to get repaid by the doctor before repaying me. It took over 4 months to get a check which came today but only for HALF the amount they owe me. I will steer anyone and everyone AWAY from OneShare Health - it's just not working readily, easily, or through the normal system. Stay away!

I have been paying my hospitalization premiums for years to One Share, this is the first time I have needed hospitalization coverage for a surgery I am scheduled for this Wednesday 9/20/23. One Share pre-approved the doctor and the surgery but are refusing to pay the hospital fees. They are in a debate with the hospital over the cost, which is them...

OneShare Health My wife called for a quote, not to sign up for coverage, and was told that she was not able to receive a quote without giving her credit card

My wife called for a quote, not to sign up for coverage, and was told that she was not able to receive a quote without giving her credit card number. My wife called for a quote, not to sign up for coverage, and was told that she was not able to receive a quote with details of the coverage without giving her credit card number. She was told that she had not confirmed the coverage, and would be eligible to cancel. She then asked to be sent a hard copy details of the policy so that we could review it together, but was told that she couldn't send any documentation over. Since she didn't want to go forward with the policy because she didn't know what it included, she told them to cancel the process WHILE she was still on the phone with them. She was told that she would not have been charged. Upon checking her bank account, she was charged in full $238.44 and had no idea what this policy included. Upon calling to get this issue resolved. My wife called, in tears as she felt taken advantage of was told that she was not able to receive a refund. After dealing with this ordeal, I decided to look up this company, and unsurprisingly so, there are multiple other issues that are almost identical to this. These are shady business practices. My wife, an elementary school teacher, is not made of money, and especially in this time of economic uncertainty, $238.44 really hurts. Especially when the world is falling apart due to Covid-19. I hope that this serves as a warning to anyone that else that is seeking insurance to stay away from this company. There are way too many other insurance providers in the marketplace to deal with someone such as this.

On June 7 I signed up for what I thought was health coverage. At the time of sign up it was represented to me that all of my current health care providers accepted this coverage. After paying $545.97 for coverage to begin July 1, I received a couple of e-mails with my membership info. At that point I found out that none of my medical providers even heard of this plan and certainly did not accept it. I immediately cancelled my membership with One Share. I was told I had 10 days to cancel and receive a full refund. The refund I received was $420.97 as they claim $125.00 was a non-refundable application fee. I am seeking this back as they made a material misrepresentation to me during the sign up process. If I knew my doctors did not accept this plan I never would have signed up. My member ID is XXXXXXXXX.

I purchased a plan and while in effect I went to the ER with a Kidney stone the bill was $12,000 One Share denied payment for false reason. One Share said my kidney stone condition was pre existing. I provided my primary Doctor's documentation that I had No pre existing conditions of ANY kind. I have called them many times, the hospital contacted them many times and my agent that recommended One Share to me is still contacting them with no help. I have explained this in detail to several One Share agents with no help or payments To me or the hospital. The hospital has sent this over to collections. This issue has been on going for two years. And to top it all off they are breaking Hippa as they are contacting my dad's doctors instead of contacting my own. They had no permission to do this as well.

I enrolled in a Program name ONESHARE HEALTH THEY PROCESSED $425 from my checking acct. I realized same day it was not Health Insurance after I read the their packet they emailed me. It took 10 business days for a refund of $327. I was denied full amount? $100 is owed? I try calling the company with a case number and they keep me on hold for lengthy periods of time.

Claim that I did not officially cancel service, will not credit me full amount. I contacted Oneshare Health and let them know that I would receive benefits from my full time job effective 7/3. They let me know they could not do a partial month's benefits, so I agreed that I would do the 6/15 billing, receive Oneshare health coverage through July 15th, even though it would create an overlap of two weeks. At that point, I had thought I had effectively let them know I would not be needing the service after 7/15. I received a bill for 8/15, and realized that they still had me as an active member! I contacted them first thing this morning to contest this charge, and found they had also billed me for 7/15. They are saying that because I didn't call their loyalty department to effectively cancel my service, they will not credit me. They have indicated that they will have upper management review the call and details. I did let them know I would be submitting a complaint to the ComplaintsBoard.com. In my mind, an extensive conversation and the specific note around not needing coverage due to my current insurance coming into effect WAS my notification. The gentleman I spoke to even said that there wasn't anything specific within the call to indicate that I was required to call back to cancel. During my entire time of coverage, which started in April, I utilized the service one time for my daughter. From 6/15 until now, I have not utilized the service whatsoever, and have proof of coverage from my company starting 7/3. Why would I want duplicate coverage at the cost of $643.06 per month? I am asking that they credit our account for the month starting 7/15 ending 8/15.

We have been members since 11 and started to use medical provider services in 2 only to have every single providers billing/sharing statement denied due to pre-existing conditions, which we do not have anything of the kind, and now have collections from services provided for the past year. Thousands of dollars owed to providers and ALL of the One Share statements we get say "not paid/shared". They use a company called Loomis who seems to deny all bills and declares them as pre-existing? I have called and spent hours and hours talking to C/S reps and requested a supervisor, who will never call you, only to be left with a huge pile of unpaid bills. NO ONE should ever signup with these scammers. I requested again today to have my past bills processed and nothing done, except empty promises. "ComplaintsBoard.com needs to shut them down now". SHUT THEM DOWN

My wife *** was hospitalized twice during March . She had gallbladder surgery on March 17th. OneShare has received all the forms of her bills but their explanation of sharing they pay nothing. I have currently over $26000 in medical bills due with more on the way.I have as of today paid $8000 of my own money on medical bills. Basically my wife is selfpay and I do not understand why for the last 2 years we have been paying premiums to OneShare for no coverage. Calls to OneShare are pointless nothing is resolved. They have all the information they need to follow thru on payment for these bills. Her member ID is XXXXXXXXX with OneShare.

I got signed up by Insurance Agency for my Medical Insurance trugh OneShare Health from 12/01, have been Paying all my Bills on Time (Auto Pay) for the 2 Years. Everhitink was okay until we changed our Provider for 2021 (reason: OneShare not covers specialist that we may posibly need for one of our 8 kids). Also before we changed our Medical Insurance provider, I got in to the Emergency room on 10/10 with the Severe Pain (thinking that I am dying). According to my Policy, my responsability should be $500 however I get 2 bills, One Share decide to not pay for Request ID #XXXXXXXXX-R $905 and for Request # XXXXXXXXX-R $8,585 First time decline, One Share stated that this is was preexisting condition and One Share requested all Medical Records from XXXX-XXXX. Second decline; After One Share found out that I never have been sick and never had a doctor, then One share sent another Decline and reason was because One Share decided it was NO Emergency? I had a feeling that I dyi.

OneShare Health I cancelled my policy with One Share Health via phone call to them on December 4th, they promised me a refund but no results

I cancelled my policy with One Share Health via phone call to them on December 4th, they promised me a refund but no results. In November I purchased a policy through One Share Health (OSH) and sent them money for a policy which was to start on December 1. Then received in my mail that I already was issued a state plan type of health insurance policy. I then contacted One Share Health on December 4th, explaining what had happened and cancelled my policy with them; they agreed to send me my balance of $439.60. Forward to January 09: Did not receive refund so contacted OSH and spoke with Billing Specialist (BS) named Sterling. He apologized for their delay and provided me with a 9-digit confirmation number and said the mony will be transferred into my checking account by Jan. 17th. January 17: No refund yet, so contacted OSH and spoke with BS named Quianna (sp?) Then another apology and I provided her with a new bank account number and routing number (since they claimed to have problems with the first one I had given them that they initially used). She said that the refund could take up to 10 business days for me to receive it into my account. Then on February 03: Spoke with BS named Veronica, with another apology and she did not know what transpired but would send me a check since the direct deposit route was not working. (Funny that on a much earlier conversation with a different BS, I was told that they could not issue me a check). Finally on February 07: Spoke with above mentioned Sterling again with yet another apology and he said that the money should be deposited into my account by the following Monday. It is now Feb. 17 and nothing has changed.

One Share's written practices differ than those they enforce from a fulfilment perspective. This is a violation of strict liability and false advert After much research, we determined that the claim they denied "out of policy" was not disclose in their coverage limits, or member guides. In short, they are rewriting the rules after a contract with consideration and tenure is already in place, reneging on their policies.

My wife had surgery in July and Oneshare is dragging their feet on paying, reviewing for pre-existing condition of which there is none, and we provided everything they asked for IMMEDIATELY, MONTHS AGO, and they are not paying our bills due to an extremely unreasonable delay in their decisionmaking process. They have absolutely no grounds for failing to pay the bills in connection with her surgery. We are getting collection notices. They keep sending the same form letter saying we didn't send them the info they requested when they know we did many months ago and there is ample documentary evidence of that. We call, they say they have the info, then we get another letter! This is completely unacceptable, stop dragging feet and pay. They ignored our last email to them. They ignore everything. Their left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing which aids their delay deny and defend and we are incurring irreparable damage as a direct result and will be ignored no longer.

I have bills from 6 not paid, a bill from Whitney Imaging that needs to be paid, the healthshare insists they need records or a letter from Whitney Imaging stating that I was only seen that one time. Whitney Imaging can't do either so OneShare needs to take my word for it and pay it. Also my husband went for a flu shot paid out of his pocket, I sent everything to OneShare they need to reimburse him. I spoke to a young lady at OneShare she was nasty. I want this all rectified right away! We pay monthly for this. I'm thinking of switching it's gotten bad. I have a job and I spend days, hours on this.

OneShare Health One Share Health is doing everything they can to delay/deny/avoid paying the doctors bills I've submitted for payment

One Share Health is doing everything they can to delay/deny/avoid paying the doctors bills I've submitted for payment. I received medical services earlier this year on two occasions (June and July). In August this year (2020) I called One Share to confirm that the bills had been submitted. I was told that they had no record of them and that I should send them in. I asked if I could fax or email and was told no, they must be mailed. In September I called to confirm that they had received the bills and was told that they had them but it would take a couple of weeks to process. I called back two weeks later to be told that they didn't have the bills. I called again and was told to fax them in to One Share, which I did on Oct. 26. I called a week later to confirm and was told that they had received "something" but they couldn't tell me what it was. I called several days later and was told that they hadn't received anything. At this point I asked for the case to be escalated and was now told that I could email the bills in, which I did. I called several days later to confirm and was told that they had been received and to call back in a couple of days. This brings us to today (12/1). I called One Share to confirm they had received the bills and they finally admit to receiving them, but now I'm told they need additional forms. They apologized for not telling me this is any one of our earlier conversations and then tried to blame it on *** and *** for not providing me with this information. I feel that this situation is putting my health at risk, not due to the additional stress this has put on me, but because I feel that I cannot go back to my doctors after owing them for their services for almost 6 months.

I called to find out about the OneShare Health Plan on December 31 and was told I could sign up that day and would receive a full refund if I canceled within 10 days. I listened to the sales guy and he assured me it was fully refundable and I could review the details and decide. I received my website login and when i read the legal disclaimer, there is no guarantee they will pay for ANYTHING EVER! https://www.onesharehealth.com/legal-notices. I canceled on January 5 and they responded the Jan 6 to sign a cancelation form and send in which I did. Then on Jan 17th when reviewing my credit card account they only refunded partial amount. I contested right away and they said that the $125 sign up fee was not refundable, which was NEVER mentioned. I would not have signed up without being able to review the plan first. I want to warn as many people as possible. This is a HARD SELL SALES PITCH SCAM! I reporting at Colorado Office of the Attorney General and Federal Govt Fraud.

I received a medical bill for my daughter for her 18month well visit including immunizations. In New York my daughters immunizations shots are required for schooling, this company is telling me that this was not covered under my membership but this was never explained to me when signing up. I would have never signed up if I had known that because my daughter was a newborn at the time and frequently at the doctor at that age. I made several phone calls disputing this bill because my doctors office is sending me bills which I do not have money for nor should I pay for. My main issue now is the lack of customer service and respect. I have made several phone calls, disputes, appeals, letters, with no contact back. I am always promised a call back or a written letter regarding there determination and I received nothing. The bill was back on June 18th and I have been disputing since, I always have to call to get any answers and then when I want to question the decision or talk to someone else I never get a call back.

OneShare Health OneShare preauthorized surgery and after completion they refused ALL bills, nor did they negotiate for the contracted in network rates

OneShare preauthorized surgery and after completion they refused ALL bills, nor did they negotiate for the contracted in network rates. OneShare Health Pre-authorized a surgery via phone and email. They subsequently refused all bills post surgery, leaving me with more than $20K in medical bills. NO representative ever returned a call or email. NO response was made by OneShare via phone, email, or letter responding to the USPS certified letter sent to open the dispute. They verbally denied the dispute on 1/22 when I called. I have included emails between myself and the company representative preauthorizing the surgery. They give authorization verbally, but I requested it in writing in the event they tried to deny a claim (which they had already done to us during the same calendar year resulting in $7K in bills going unpaid). The hospital and provider were both told more information was needed in order to render payment. One issue was determining if this was a pre-existing condition. This was addressed prior to the surgery by providing OneShare with the patient's previous medical records, as well as having to provide the ID number for the previous health care coverage for them to look into (which had no claims for this issue). They are claiming pre-existing as well as out of network excuses on these bills. The pre-existing was addressed as stated before. The out of network issue was also addressed, as I discussed this with the representative prior to surgery. This was addressed, because our policy was used earlier in the year at the other area hospital which they later told me was not in-network, and I was subsequently left to pay that facility nearly $5,000 which was not counted toward my "deductible". This issue was absolutely addressed before the August surgery, as I was not going to be left with such a surprise a second time.

OneShare Health The health plan I was sold was misrepresented and did not cover a necessary medical procedure even though the sales person assured me it would

The health plan I was sold was misrepresented and did not cover a necessary medical procedure even though the sales person assured me it would. In September, we lost our health insurance through my husband's employer due to a lay off. A week later I received a call from my doctor stating that my cologuard test results came up positive and that I needed to get a colonoscopy. My brother died from this disease in 2015 so, as you can imagine, I had to take this seriously. With this news I promptly looked into obtaining medical coverage. I filled out a form on***.com for insurance quotes and received a call from a man named Rudy. I don't have the exact date, but this was towards the end of September. I explained my situation with him and he suggested signing up with OneShare Health. I told him I had a colonoscopy that was medically necessary scheduled for October 15th and asked him if this would be covered. He said "Yes, 100% and you can go to any doctor under the Open Access PPO Plan." With this information I went ahead and signed up to be covered as of October 1st paying $846 per month. Months later I am received an Explanation of Sharing notice from OneShare Health that NONE OF IT WAS COVERED. The reason stated is "The waiting period must be satisfied before services are eligible for sharing." I feel I was sold this plan under false pretenses and completely scammed. If I had been told the truth in the beginning I could have made a better decision. Not only have I paid out $2,538 ($846 for 3 months) to OneShare Health but now I'm stuck with $4,780 in medical bills. This doesn't even include some of the smaller medical bills that were denied. I sent a letter in March asking that OneShare Health either refunds me the $2,538 or honor the claims for my colonoscopy totaling $4,780. I have not heard from them at all.

OneShare Health They took my bank info and then put me on a line to verify I wanted the insurance

They took my bank info and then put me on a line to verify I wanted the insurance. During verification process I said no I didn't want to continue. My insurance agent took my bank information and then put me on a call to verify if I wanted this insurance. During verification on the phone I told him no I don't agree with their policies. My insurance agent Greg *** told me I could just hang up and we can try to do another policy with another agency. So we ended the verification process and they Activated the insurance anyway and charge me a 125 fee when I did not finish the verification process to get the insurance they went ahead and made it effective when I told them no. They won't refund the 125.00. Fee even after my agent told them that they should have never processed the account . Greg ***@outlook.com. He knows it was wrong and I have an email Proving it. I literally could not believe it. I have tried everything I can think of and said everything I can think of and they still won't do it. It's unbelievable! I'm sorry but I have done everything I can. Maybe you can call and just don't take "No" for an answer and don't get off the phone until they refund you. I don't know what else to tell you to do. I am not happy one bit with them. OneShare Health I was enrolled in this health insurance company program for less than a week, I requested a refund I was not refunded the enrollment fee

I was enrolled in this health insurance company program for less than a week, I requested a refund I was not refunded the enrollment fee. I am 26 years old and recently lost my health insurance, I went to NYS of health to try and enroll into a plan I can afford, my work does not provide health care coverage, in addition, due COVID-19, my work has been greatly reduced and as a result a significantly lower income. I have never been in the position to enroll in a new healthcare program by myself before and I thought I was enrolling in a government provided health care plan, however, I enrolled in One Share's health insurance policy on 10/26, costing $184.17 a month with a $125 one time enrollment fee, while this is out of my budget, I still needed health care coverage. I was told this policy would go into effect the next business day (10/27), therefore I made a doctor appointment on 10/28. After my doctor visit I was informed the insurance policy, in fact, had a 90 waiting period before going into effect, and had to pay $172.45 for my visit. I was highly upset that I had just paid $309.17 for health insurance, in addition to having to pay $172.45 for my visit. After expressing this to a third party, I was informed that I must not have applied for a government health insurance but rather enrolled in an "Ad" for health insurance. Therefore, on 10/29, I decided to cancel this policy and receive a refund, as I had not even gotten the chance to use it. I was informed while canceling this policy that I could be refunded the $184.17, however the enrollment fee was "non-refundable" considering I had this policy for only 3 days, I feel that this is unreasonable. I understand the concept of non-refundable, however, I was never told upon purchasing that it was not refundable on enrollment. Health care coverage is highly confusing to navigate, and I feel as if I was scammed into getting this overpriced policy that in essence has very minimal health care coverage overall.

OneShare Health Prior required medical procedures approved as not preexisting conditions

Prior required medical procedures approved as not preexisting conditions. Error has been made by Oneshare classifying same condition as pre-existing. 10: Oneshare health deemed my medical condition as Pre-existing and denied coverage. In 11: After reviewing 2 years of my medical records (38 pages) provide by my primary Physician to Oneshare it was determined by Oneshare that a mistake had been made and my medical condition was in fact not a pre-existing condition. Onshare identified and recommended to me an MD *** that was in their network. I met with Dr. *** and was diagnosed with a back issue. Instead of recommending surgery costing Hu8ndreds of thousands of dollars he recommend a more conservative treatment plan of Nerve blocks and once the nerve blocks were successful to administer a Rizotomy aka RF Ablation. 12: Oneshare approved a procedure (#XXXXX-Media branch blocks) and the procedure was conducted by Dr. *** 12/4. 1: Oneshare approved (Attached) an additional procedure (#XXXXX-Media branch blocks) and the procedure was conducted again by Dr. *** 1/27. 2: Since the prior procedures were effective Dr. *** requested one more procedure. On 2/24 Oneshare denied (Attached) the same procedure (#XXXXX-Medial Branch block) stating: After reviewing the clinical information provided, it has been determined the proposed (64493 - Injection(s), diagnostic or therapeutic agent, paravertebral facet *** joint (or nerves innervating that joint) with image guidance (fluoroscopy or CT), lumbar or sacral) is denied. OneShare Health Deceptive Sales Tactics

Deceptive Sales Tactics. Uninformed Sales Representative that misrepresented the coverage When we had an unplanned interruption in our health coverage while I was half way through my pregnancy I was researching coverage when I came across an ad for OneShare Health. They would approve coverage with me being about half way through pregnancy and I was relieved that I was able to find something. I asked all the right questions, I was told that the most I would pay out of pocket was $6000 for my family. That my baby would be covered under me for the first 30 days and all bills resulting from her birth would go towards my $3000 out of my pocket costs. They told me they would cover up to $30k for delivery and $52k for a complicated delivery. At 3 months post my delivery, claims were still unpaid. I have called so many times, I was assured that they were being processed and they had everything from me to process the claims. I keep receiving forms in the mail to fill out regarding past doctors seen during the 2 year period prior to our coverage. My husband and I both filled out the forms 3+ times and they were claiming they had not received them. I even just received one in the mail asking for a list of doctors that treated my daughter from 6-6 when she wasn't born until 10. It wasn't until I finally threatened legal action that I was actually able to speak to a supervisor that stated they would only pay $5k towards my medical bills because I had a natural birth. I was furious because I would have never paid nearly $7k in premiums for a program that would only pay out $5k. I have had people call me back and leave phone numbers on my voicemail to reach them back and when I call the given number it is a completely different company. It is clear they are using farmed out call centers for billing and sales with people who no NOTHING about the actual programs that are being sold. When I finally spoke with a supervisor and questioned why someone would misrepresent this to me, I was emailed their explanation of coverage is now different than what was provided to me when I signed up. Specifically the disclosure that they only pay $5k for a natural birth. This is proof that I am not the only one that has been lied to and they have had to adjust their documents to disclose such coverage. I do not want this to happen to someone else. $37,000 in medical bills is financially crippling my family.

OneShare Health When we signed on with One Share Health they said that arthiritis was not a pre-existing condition

When we signed on with One Share Health they said that arthiritis was not a pre-existing condition. I have been working on a claim with One Share Health from 10/10. A visit to a Rheumatologist in Honolulu HI with Dr. *** She was recommended to us through One Share Health. We were denied reimbursement for her visit because arthiritis was considered a pre-existing condition, which is true. But when we initially signed on with One Share Health we were told arthritis would NOT be considered pre existing, otherwise we would have explored other options for health care coverage. For every MD appointment we made we contacted One Share Health with the date and time of the appointment and received approval for that appointment. We used Physcians approved by One Share Health. I am aware of how expensive it is to see a rheumatologist and I would have waited to see one if I'd known it would not be covered by One Share Health plan. I'm very upset and disappointed by our claim denial. At two different times we were told (my husband and myself) it would be covered, first by Tyler a health insurance representative when we signed on, and more recently by Mariah on 02/12 when I called with questions regarding our claim. They both told us arthritis is not a pre exisiting condition per One Share Health plan. Several times I read through the One Share Health membership guideline handbook 2019 regarding preexisting conditions and the definition of terms for it on page 34 and 16 which gives a good description but does not specify which exact medical conditions. Pre-Existing condition 24/24: A chronic or recurrent medical condition that exists within 24 months prior to Effective Date (page 16). Pre-Existing Condition. A chronic or recurrent medical condition that exists at or prior to Effective Date, or can be reasonably expected to require medical intervention in the future. So if a person has a chronic ingrown toenail does that mean treatment will not be covered? In led to believe the only coverage given will be for healthy individuals who will not be accumulating any medical expenses. A motto at the bottom of page 8 states "OneShare Health exists to bless people. Our prayer and desire is to bless you!" I am not feeling blessed. Recently April 27th and again on May 27th we ( my husband and myself) called One Share Health to discuss a letter of Dispute we sent regarding our medical bills from my rheumatology appoint on 10/10 and were not given an answere as to what they were doing about our dispute but someone would contact us soon and let us know. To this date we have not heard from them. Hence this letter to you regarding our complaint. Sincerely

OneShare Health OneShare Health Expense Sharing Department is keep making excuse and playing for time to avoid to process and reimburse customer medical bills

OneShare Health Expense Sharing Department is keep making excuse and playing for time to avoid to process and reimburse customer medical bills. I am complaining regarding the medical claim for my client *** her claim # would be XXXXXXXXX-X with OneShare Health. The service date for this claim was 8/22, 8/23, and 8/24, and it was for emergency, in-hospital, and surgery. Although the whole amount for this bill was $99,652.25, but I have paid for the services for 8/22 to the provider directly. So the actual amount that OneShare Health should handle was $41705.5. This bill was sent to OneShare Health in late August last year from Good Samaritan Hospital. They first decline it for need more information from the provider. So I went to the hospital to request for the additional information that OneShare requested. On 12/09, I sent OneShare Health Expense Sharing Department the first package that contains 1. Cover Letter, 2. Receipt for services on 8/22, 3. Itemize of service from 8/22 to 8/24. All the paid items are highlighted in yellow, 4. Medical Record, 5. OneShare Health pre-existing condition letter. Later, I called to made a confirmation with them to make sure they receive my package. The answer was yes, and they told me that this claim was sent to reprocess. So I called them again on 1/23. The guy name Tra *** told me that they still don't have the itemize for the bill, even though I sent them a month a ago. So I sent them the second package that contains 1. New cover letter, 2. Old cover letter, 3. Itemize of service from 8/22 to 8/24, 4. Receipt for services on 8/22, 5. HIPPA Form. On 3/3, I called them to follow up. The representative told me that they don't have the medical record for this bill! So I went to the hospital and asked the hospital staff to fax them my medical record directly. So this claim was finally escalated on 4/16. Since that I call them almost every single day to check the status, and they kept telling me it's in process. Finally on 7/8, I call them for the countless times, they told me that they decline this claim due the service date was prior the health plan's active date. That's totally not true! *** health plan was active on 8/22, and for the service on the same day, as I mentioned above, it has been paid off. We just want OneShare to reimburse the amount for the service on 8/23 and 8/24. The reason for them to decline this bill is ridiculous and unacceptable! This bill had been put off for almost a year by OneShare Health. The hospital keeps sending bills to *** even today. Every time we try to get to OneShare Health, they just keep making up excuse and playing with time in order to avoid making payment for this bill.

OneShare Health OneShare is saying I have a pre existing condition, which is false, and on this basis they refuse to cover any expenses for my recent heart

OneShare is saying I have a pre existing condition, which is false, and on this basis they refuse to cover any expenses for my recent heart surgery. I have spent months corresponding with OneShare in regard to pre authorization for desperately needed heart surgery. They have repeatedly denied my requests, which I have formally appealed and there has still been no resolution. There are absolutely no grounds for which OneShare should be denying or refusing to cover my medical expenses. They are claiming that I had heart problems prior based on a complaint of 'heart racing' when going in to have a breast lump checked, which had to be removed. The doctor who I saw for the lump submitted extensive documentation proving that I was in good heart health. I also passed a pre surgical physical exam that was required before my lumpectomy, also showing good heart health and absolutely no pre existing condition. That doctor and also the cardiologist who did the physical both submitted letters to OneShare proving with absolutely certainty that there was NO PRE EXISTING heart condition! It cannot possibly have been made any more clear. I have submitted letters from every single doctor I've seen over the last 2 years which very clearly prove that there was no pre existing heart condition. I have provided every bit of information OneShare had requested from me. Literally hundreds of pages of documents - ekg readings, doctors visits, surgery documentation for when I had a lumpectomy, countless medical records for every visit to the doctor for over two years. But OneShare continued to deny preauthorization 3 times. Meanwhile, I was emotionally exhausted to say the least, and still in need of heart surgery at the Mayo Clinic. Because OneShare is refusing my claim, I now have medical expenses of $84,000.00 since I had to go forward with the surgery, holding faith that OneShare health would fulfill what I was rightfully owed, believing that they were a company which would uphold the utmost integrity of a Christian organization. My family is financially devastated. This is not the first time I have had a problem with this company. My daughter had to go to the emergency room in February . I called them on the way to the ER and they said they would cover the expense. I called them again to verify and again they said they would cover it. The hospital billing department also called them and were told that it would be covered. And then OneShare denied the whole thing. Another $6500 out of pocket (which would have been only 55% of that if I had just asked for the cash pay discount but I did not do that because they assured me they would cover it!) Trusting OneShare health is the biggest mistake my family has ever made. The only option that remains is to get a lawyer to fight them, which is not much of an option for my family considering the reality of the financial difficulties we are now facing because of this deceptive and outright appalling company that does not provide the service that they have promised to provide to their customers. HELP! This has consumed the last 10 months of my life, and I will spend the rest of my life paying for this if they do not seek to justly resolve this. I am a teacher and my husband is self employed. We are desperate.

OneShare Health I was lured into this program by fraudulent and misleading information

I was lured into this program by fraudulent and misleading information. Not one single medical group would accept this program for medical services. For the past seven month, in the midst of COVID-19 raging pandemic, I believed I had medical coverages, essential in these unprecedented times, but six month into the program, I couldn't even find a provider willing to administer flu shot using One Share health. Subsequently, alarmed by all issues I encountered with the flu shot, I realized, things are not as they were presented to me and I need to contact my providers and verify they can work with One Share health. I was horrified to learn that regardless of the fact that my doctors are part of the First Health network, medical groups they are associated with, don't work with One Share health. At the time of my signing with One Share health, I was assured by their agent who sold this policy to me that, as long as my doctors are part of First Health network, I am covered and will be able to continue using my current providers. I did due diligence and personally checked the network to verify that, yes indeed, my doctors are part of the network. Turned out, this is a lie. One Share was misrepresented to me because the fact is: Even if doctors are in the First Health network, that doesn't assure medical coverage; because major medical group providers like Northwestern Medicine and NorthShoreConnect doctors are associated with for determining discounts for medical services, billing and claims processing, are not associated with One Share network. I let them know, that not even once since I joined One Share health program in April , was I able to certify for any medical services. This includes all desperately needed preventive services, including mammogram, pap-smear and even the flu shot, for which I ended up paying out of pocket. I can't start changing doctors at this stage of my life, especially in the middle of COVID-19 pandemic, but I did contact suggested physicians to see if I could understand the reasons why they, allegedly, are able to work with One Share health and my current doctors couldn't. As it turned out, once again, One Share health concierge send me on the wild goose chase with this new group of doctors who, as it turned out, just like my own doctors from Northwest medicine and NorthShoreConnect, confirmed they are not working with One Share and did not certify me for medical services. Again, true to form, I was repeatedly informed by all providers, they will not work outside of insurance umbrellas they are associated with. (One of provider's voicemail is attached). One Share health was misrepresented to me, I was misinformed and misled into believing I could use my own doctors and/or any doctors that are part of First Health network, regardless of medical groups they are associated with, when in fact, I can't use any of my current providers. Given the facts, I am thankful I didn't get seriously ill acquiring exuberant amounts in medical bills, which are not billable through my providers under One Share program, before realizing I don't have medical coverage. I contacted One Share concierge on October 16 and requested immediate termination of my association with One Share health, effective October 17, paid since April in the total amount of $2,962.58 Based on fraudulent information provided to me at the time I signed on with One Share health and, subsequently, my own experience in dealing with One Share health program, I request a full refund of all fees and premiums paid per above.
