Horrible bait and switch experience with a car we wanted to purchase. Very insulting and ignorant people. I physically got threatened by a sales man named MJ and insulted by Sam the financial guy or manager.
My experience at Oak Lawn Mazda was absolutely terrible. I was looking to buy a car, but instead, I was subjected to a bait and switch tactic. It was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The people there were not only insulting but also ignorant.
To make matters worse, I had a frightening encounter with a salesperson named MJ. He actually threatened me physically, which left me feeling scared and unsafe. It was a completely unacceptable behavior from someone who is supposed to be a professional.
On top of that, I was insulted by Sam, the financial guy or manager. His attitude was disrespectful and demeaning. It made me question why I even bothered to visit this dealership in the first place.
Overall, my experience at Oak Lawn Mazda was a complete nightmare. I would strongly advise anyone considering buying a car from them to think twice. The way I was treated was completely unacceptable, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I experienced.
Illinois car dealership won't send our certificate of origin for our new vehicle
Illinois car dealership won't send our certificate of origin for our new vehicle. They're claiming we owe them money that's not stated in the purchase agreement, even after two weeks. Those fees aren't right, they're related to the bureau of motor vehicles. We can't drive our vehicle because they're keeping it. And they won't send us the certificate of origin so we can get license plates for the vehicle.

This car place sold me a car on September 30 and it's already Dec 24, 2020 but I still haven't got the paper work for the BMV. I've contacted them like 10 times and every time they give me a date when they gonna fix it, but then that date passes and they make up some excuse. I've had this car for 4 months now and for 3 of those months it's been illegal to drive. I don't see an end to this and I need someone to help me make them give me the proof that I own this car I bought 4 months ago.
This place is the worst ever
This place is the worst ever. Don't shop with these folks, they'll regret it when I'm through with them. I bought two Mazdas from this dealership and their customer service is terrible. Avoid dealing with them, go to any other Mazda dealership, this place is the absolute worst. I called about paperwork for my vehicle and the customer service rep, ***, in the sales department disrespected me. They're so ignorant and can't handle ignorance themselves. Now they won't even answer the phone regarding the paperwork for the vehicle I bought from them. I'm going to contact Corporate and post this review on every website I can think of. That's why I drive a *** now, don't deal with these crooks!

I been to two other Mazda Dealerships in the past year. I can say that this dealership has the worst communication by far. The other dealerships have kept me really abreast to the updates for my car. For this location in particular, I’ll call the dealer and tell them about something I want them to look into for my car and they always say ”we’ll give you a call right back”, mind you, I usually call at 8am to check on the status of my car. So, I should at least get updates throughout the day on the status of my vehicle. But I have to keep calling to get an update on my vehicle and I am pissed. Why do I call you with a question at 8am but you still don’t reach out to me and it’s basically closing time (5pm). So then I have to call before they close just to get an update! I understand that they are busy and my car may take longer, but AT LEAST communicate with me. Don’t tell me you will call me right back and then I need to call back myself 7 hours later to get an update. COMMUNICATION IS KEY TO GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Now, instead getting my car back in 1-2 days (like I was promised), the service won’t be completed until 5 DAYS after I first brought it in. My vehicle hasn’t even been touched and it has already been there for two days. Terrible terrible terrible service. I will never come back again. I recommend the one on Cicero since they completed my last service EXTREMELY FAST and they updated me twice a day on the status of my vehicle. I wish I could say the same for this location, I don’t know how this location has the best reviews. I really wish I could be compensated or something for the BS I have gone through.
