Northland Fence was wonderful to work with from the beginning. The estimator was a local man who knew the Plymouth area well and gave us some helpful suggestions on the fence. The fence itself is wonderful, being vinyl, there is minimal maintenance and the fence looks great on both sides. The people in the office, especially Krista, were extremely helpful and guided me through the process even when I ran into a temporary snag with the City of Plymouth. The crew that did the final installation did a fabulous job. Jess, Issac, Jacob and Kayvon worked hard and had the job done in record time. Our experience was incredibly positive. When Paul came out for an initial review of our yard he was very honest about the work needed to be done before a fence could be placed where we wanted (we had several trees that needed removal, such as buckthorn and diseased ash trees). After that work was completed, he came back out to do official measurements. The installation team of Larissa, Matt, and Dashauna did a fantastic job. Before starting, they discussed our installation, helping us decide if we wanted more emphasis on a flat line across the top of our fence or placing our fence as close to the ground as possible. They put in an excellent custom gate that follows the contours of the ground. After completing the fence, we walked around with them examining the fence and making sure everything was as we expected.

Working with Northland Fence was awesome! I had gotten a couple of other pretty expensive quotes, so I almost didn't reach out to them. But I really needed to get my old wood fence replaced and I was shocked at how reasonable their quote was for a vinyl privacy fence (which was only slightly higher than the other chain link quotes I received!) and got on their schedule right away! They were super responsive and helpful from start to finish. I ended up needing to order a survey and they handled the whole thing, which was a huge relief for me. Their installation crew was super friendly and quick. They removed my old fence (around 300') and had all the posts up for the new fence within a day. Installation of the panels was also sooner than expected. Love my fence and I would definitely do repeat business with them!

Northland Fence was extremely responsive and helpful through our time of interest, planning with the city permit process, and our installation. Trisha, our sales lead, and Mike, our estimator we're friendly and helpful - they were a big reason we chose Northland Fence for our project. Trisha found ways to work with us, as we were in the process of moving to a new home and trying to line up the project timeline. The installation crew arrived as scheduled, and finished the project within 10 days which was sooner than our estimated end date. Our dogs and kids can safely and freely run around now, and we've received several compliments from neighbors on how nice the fence looks. The price was competitive based on other bids we received, but all fencing is expensive so make sure you are prepared if you are asking for estimates.

We are so pleased with our Northland Fence project. We had used another fencing company that is popular in the Twin Cities in the past, and had them out for an estimate, but the quote we were given was so unreasonable I knew I had to look for others. When I found Northland, they were so helpful and honest from the start. For starters, their estimate was thousands less (for the same fencing!), the time frame was very reasonable and all of my questions were answered in a timely and friendly way. The office staff was great! The footings crew did a great job and worked with us to determine best placement, (and did I mention no pile of dirt!?) And the install crew came 5 days later to finish the project. We couldn't be happier with the finished project. Northland was fair, honest, timely, and wonderful to work with. I would recommend Northland without hesitation! And would definitely use again!

Northland Fence just installed over 850 linear feet of black chain link and tan privacy fence, plus a few gates, at my home. The fence (and this company and their employees) has far exceeded my expectations. The fence is perfect -- superior quality, excellent detail, and looks absolutely fantastic �" and was completed ahead of schedule! From my initial call to Northland Fence to the finished product, every contact I had with the company employees -- office staff, designers, project managers, and production crews �" was outstanding. These people are all experienced professionals. Everyone was communicative, knowledgeable, polite, friendly, safety conscience, and expressed genuine care about the quality of their work. I have received so many compliments from friends, family, and even strangers (all from a safe distance due to the virus). If I ever have another fencing product, the only company I will call will be Northland Fence. They are the best!

Northland Fence Minnesota has been amazing from the moment we contacted them about a quote for our fence! The staff have been incredibly responsive, personable, timely, and professional. We started our journey prior to the COVID pandemic, but once it became time for our fence to be installed, both teams (posts and fence panels) were very conscious of the precautions that needed to be implemented to ensure social distancing per state and federal guidelines. I felt very safe during both phases of the install, it was clear Northland Fence had spent time training staff on the new precautions that needed to be implemented. We couldn't be happier with the finished product! Our fence is beautiful and sturdy. The warranty gives us peace of mind, but we know if there is an issue Northland will make it right because they've been so customer-focused from the beginning. We highly recommend Northland Fence to everyone! You're going to love working with them almost as much as you love your new amazing fence!

I was impressed from the word go with this company. I got a knowledgeable person to speak with the first call I made. Then a representative came out measured got our liking on a design and style. We received quotes for 3 different styles the very same day representative came out. We started the process with very easy financing through a company Northland Fence recommended. As soon as we were financed we were placed on the calendar. We took care of building permit, they took care of having utilities marked in our yard. The pole team arrived at 8am, courteous, professional and took care of business and were complete by noon. Within 2 weeks the next team showed up for the rest of the installation. They were just as professional, courteous, and quick as the pole team. Throughout this process I was kept well informed with email communication and when I had a question they always answered the phone and had an answer for me. If we have any future fencing needs, we will definately use Northland Fence again. James and Susan

With a new German shepard-husky-lab mix puppy, we really needed a fence so she could run, run , and run! I looked thru several options before landing on Northland Fence. What struck me first was the quality wrought iron fence option - they looked solid and added an aesthetic to the backyard vs. just being a fence as a barrier. The gentleman who did the survey and wrote the proposal was great, asked questions, and listened to our goals. He incorporated it all into the final installation. Once we decided to move forward, their communication was timely and very specific as to our responsibilities, e.g., must have lot markers located. The posts were driven deep into the ground so there'll be no frost heaving or movement, and the black ornamental fence was installed shortly after. We had 2 gates installed beyond the fence and they're as solid as the fence itself. Our new puppy now can run freely, and we've received several compliments how nice it looks in our yard. The latter was really important given we have many gardens and take pride in our backyard where we often entertain our friends.

We had 172 feet of 72" Tongue & Groove White Vinyl Privacy Fencing installed, including a 4' gate and a 8' double gate. This installation included removal and disposal of our existing chain link fence. Hunter was the crew lead for the installation of the galvanized fence posts. He and his partner showed up right away at the beginning of the time slot, had excellent communication skills, and kept me in the loop throughout the service. He needed to come back the next day to drill one more post through concrete, and he showed up exactly when he had estimated and did a beautiful job. He walked me through everything once again and made sure everything was to my satisfaction. Matt, Ash, and Joe came to finish the install and they worked so quickly! Once again, the crew was extremely kind and friendly, and made sure to walk me through everything to ensure I was happy. The finished installation is truly stunning and beyond what we could have envisioned. Every single person we encountered from this company was so incredibly kind and we would absolutely recommend this company to anyone; they did a superb job!

We are so happy with our new fence! I am a tough critic and this was a large investment for us. We were quoted significantly less with Northland than other companies. However, everything from start to finish was handled first class. Aaron came out on the exact day we anticipated for the initial post install. He listened very closely to every small request we had. Posts felt very secure as they were either cemented into the ground or pretty far into the soil. Matt and Larissa were our 2nd day crew that finalized the fence install. They also listened very closely to requests on small details that mattered to us such as gate closure and slope of the bottom of the fence. It means a lot that they actually care. They also did an excellent job cleaning up which I appreciate. Before leaving they gave us a rundown of proper care and let us know to call if anything were to happen years from now and they will be here to help. Matt mentioned it's a great company to work for and we love supporting good people. We are thankful to have a fenced yard for our boxer puppy, some added privacy from a busy street, and we look forward to many evenings grilling out in our new yard. Thank you Northland!

Working with Northland was great. We had several quotes from multiple companies and ultimately decided on Northland based on their availability, product, financing, and professionalism. From the initial estimate to the installation, everybody I worked with at Northland was efficient and thorough. I never thought I'd order a vinyl fence, but it looks fantastic. We had new sidewalks that I was very protective of, and the installation crew was great. It turned out much better than I had anticipated, and now we can work on the yard so that what's inside the fence is as lovely as the fence itself. Northland guided us through all the steps from confirmation to applying for the city permit. There was a thorough checklist so we knew exactly what we needed to do as homeowners to ensure swift and safe installation. Teardown of the old chainlink and installation of posts took one day and the crew came back the following week to install the panels. I left the house at 9am and by the time I returned at 5pm, the fence was up and the crew was gone. Everything was as we left it. I'd definitely recommend Northland. While not the cheapest, the value was great for the product, and the warranty will last us as long as we're in this house.

My process with Northland was very smooth and pleasant . Anytime I had a question or concern they were addressed within that day or day after by phone or email. I had a very challenging situation with a neighbor who did not want my fence and Northlands employees were all very respectful of both myself and the difficult neighbor who was questioning / harassing them during their work. Trisha in sales , and Dawn in installations, were helpful, kind , patient , understanding and very accommodating given I had so many questions and so much push back from one side of my property line. I also needed a second visit from and estimator / installation leader to confirm the safety of a mature tree in the fencing line . They came out within a day or two and found a way to fence around it safely. This helped me stay on course with the projects requirements from Northland and my city. Alex who put in the posts endured constant questioning from my neighbor and had to witness him threatening me! Alex stayed professional and continued forward with my requests and completed that property line first to reduce frustrations. Cooper, Mike, Nolan, and Hunter for installation were efficient and kept to my side of the property line during the work . Tim and Sam returned the following week , at my request, to replace a few spots of visual imperfections that faced the problematic neighbors. Again, they stayed professional, efficient and accommodating so that I could move forward with as much peace as possible with this neighbor. I would absolutely recommend this company! I could feel and notice the small, family run values in all of the employees.I loved the whole experience all the way from the online estimator that gave me time to consider this project to the final product and my deep sigh at putting this challenge behind me.
