NORC Amerispeak is a survey company that pays peeps for answering their surveys

Amerispeak is a survey company that pays peeps for answering their surveys. I just did a survey but haven't got paid for it yet, even though I've been asking for my money and a solution over and over again.

NORC I had 2 people come to my house and just got a phone call

I had 2 people come to my house and just got a phone call. I keep telling them to leave me alone. I don't want to take part in their survey. They say my house was chosen, but only I can do the survey, not anyone else in my house. She said she can make a note, but they won't stop contacting me. They are really pushy and intimidating. The first guy said I hurt his feelings. He's just an old, overweight guy who might try to deceive me. I have a video, but I can't figure out how to share it from my security camera.

NORC I got 290 dollars of virtual credit cards, but they're useless

I got 290 dollars of virtual credit cards, but they're useless. I tried to redeem them in different amounts like 2-100, 1-50, 1-25, 2-10 dollars, but none of the numbers work. I called them multiple times on March 11th and 13th, 2022, but I kept getting disconnected. I also sent them many emails and messages. They should fix this and give me my points back. I never had any problems with real cards. I earned these points by doing lots of time-consuming surveys with the promise of getting paid. They should address complaints better and make improvements.

NORC I asked to be removed from their list in 2021

I asked to be removed from their list in 2021. I know this, because I also worked for them after losing my career in covid, and they were a terrible employer. They kept contacting me with obviously irrelevant employee related content after I quit, I asked to be removed from ALL their lists then and when I received a survey call ... and again in Dec 2022 I received ANOTHER call from the *** for their survey. When I called back? NORC again. This is illegal. They need to stop. They should be fined. I'm complaining as a citizen receiving calls from a number I specifically asked to be removed from, but what's worse is how they treat their employees. They wasted our time in many hours or training at a basic level, then treated me badly when I had intelligent questions working from home remotely on my very first day.

NORC This company sent me a **** document sayin they wanted to ask me questions in return for some gift card

This company sent me a *** document sayin they wanted to ask me questions in return for some gift card. A few days later they showed up at my home bangin on the door flashin her Norco badge into my door camera. My husband answer and told her nicely we would not be interested. She asked to talk to me and he told her I was in the bath. She told him very rudely and pushy that she would be back. A few days later I see she was back but I ignored the door as my husband was not home. My son was ridin his bike and she cornered him when he was comin home. Later that night I called and complained and said to LEAVE us alone! But nope they wont stop callin now! This is insane and is harassment. I am also fillin out a police report about this. These people need to understand NO means NO! Leave us alone means YOU ARE NOT welcome to come over or call! I will say it again tell your employees to loose my number and address and never contact us again!

NORC A few months ago, I got an email from a company called NORC in Chicago

A few months ago, I got an email from a company called NORC in Chicago. They said I'd get a letter soon explaining their biz and a lil' gift. After a week or two, I got a letter with ten bucks inside. It said they do some gov't research. Since I didn't wanna do a survey, I chucked the letter and forgot about it. Later on, I got another letter with five bucks and a note sayin' they'd be in touch. Then the phone calls started. I don't pick up if I don't know the number, so they left voicemails sayin' they'd call back. I ignored 'em and don't wanna do any surveys, so I want 'em to stop callin'. I saw some complaints on ComplaintsBoard.com's site sayin' NORC tells folks they can't opt out, but I ain't interested, so please make 'em stop callin'. Sincerely, Billl

NORC I got a letter from *** in July 2022 about doing a NORC survey

I got a letter from *** in July 2022 about doing a NORC survey. I didn't wanna do it, so I threw the letter away. Then, this really pushy NORC interviewer came to my door in August (on a Saturday) and tried to force me into doing the interview right then. I had family visiting from out of town (he saw the car in my driveway with out of state plates), so I told him (nicely but firmly) that I wasn't interested in doing a survey then or ever. I thought that would be the end of it. But this guy has come to my house at least 4 more times. I didn't answer the door each time, but he caught me outside once. I told him AGAIN that I wasn't gonna give him an interview and to just go away (again firmly). I really thought that was it until yesterday (Sunday) when he showed up again, this time leaving a note promising me $250 to do the interview. In my opinion, he's rude, aggressive, and borderline harassing. His name is ***. I don't want him on my property again, and I'll contact the police department if he comes back.

NORC I did a 45 minute zoom survey with NORC at the University of Chicago on 2-15-22

I did a 45 minute zoom survey with NORC at the University of Chicago on 2-15-22. They told me I would get some points added to my Amerispeak account within 2 weeks after finishing the survey. But it's been 3 weeks now and still no points. So, I contacted *** at NORC to let her know. She said she would check it out and told me to also contact Amerispeak. I reached out to Amerispeak and they said they would "escalate" the issue and get back to me. They called me a few times in early March, but couldn't explain where my points were. I called Amerispeak again on 4-18-22 and told the customer service rep that I still haven't received my points. The rep said they would "escalate" the problem and someone would call me back in 2 days. But no one called. I called again on 4-21-22 and another rep said someone would call me back that day. She even promised to personally call me back that evening to confirm. But no one called.

NORC Yesterday morning, a lady knocked on my door

Yesterday morning, a lady knocked on my door. I had to ask her a few times who she was, but she didn't want to share that information. She seemed a bit intimidating, claiming to be from "NORC," but she wouldn't explain what that meant. She mentioned that they had sent me a letter about a month ago, but I couldn't recall receiving it, and I hadn't responded. It initially felt like one of those annoying spam calls that threaten legal trouble. I insisted that she get straight to the point. She mentioned they were conducting "economic research" and that I was chosen as one of the households in the USA. I firmly told her to leave and not return. She tried to argue briefly, but when I gave her a stern look and walked back into my house, she decided not to say anything else and left. I find it quite concerning that this group would stalk and harass me in my own home just because I didn't respond to a random letter (after all, this is a free country, right?). I contacted the city and discovered that they don't have the required permit to knock on doors in this town, making their actions illegal. I also spoke to law enforcement about this incident. I want absolutely no further contact from this group of people. If they ever try to contact me again through calls, messages, or visits, I will immediately press criminal charges. I have been assured by the police that they will be dealt with accordingly. I will pursue criminal charges to the fullest extent and hold the city responsible for allowing door knocking without permits. I want to make it clear: do not ever come to my home again. The end.
