I received an invitation from another small business to join this company and should have done my homework! It is pure SPAM! I "think/hope" I have deactivated my account, and have unsubscribed from all emails from them. Avoid them at all costs, as they send emails to anyone from your contact list...

Alignable has put up a contact form that says Contact "My Company Name" this contact form doesn't email our company but our customers think it does and have been thinking they are sending contact requests to us and then getting angry that no one responds. This company is incredibly inappropriate in their use of data.

Alienable takes all your contacts and start sending e-mails impersonating you, claiming that there is a private message or that you want to connect with them. I did not even agree for all my contacts to be taken. My business is private and contains very sensitive information. There is no way to contact anybody from this company. It is an infringement into my privacy.

Alignable is a ***! I NEVER created an account with Alignable, yet somehow I have an account that I cannot delete or manage. Despite my attempts to block them, I receive dozens of emails from them daily. The site doesn't allow me to "unsubscribe", and doesn't have a way to contact them - no phone number or email address, no "chat" with a rep, no physical address. They are sharing my info without my consent and I have no way to get rid of them! Shame on them.

Seriously, what a mess they have caused me. I was under my *** account which apparently was tied to my *** account and I am not sure what happened but *** SINGLE *** contact I have got emails from *** and ***. This is awful and has cause a lot of stress. I deleted my accounts but *** WILL *** STOP! PEOPLE *** MAD..MAKE *** STOP. Horrible business model when you can't even pick up the phone and call someone to get something resolved. "

I coworker asked why they recieved a junk email from Alignable. It is super embarassing and now I have to reach out to everyone to apologize. They hacked my email and contacted the email recipients from the last email I sent (hopefully not my whole contact database) without without my knowledge - seems really scammy and should be illegal. I have never signed up for this service and just started recieveing their emails a week or so ago. This company is a joke and a scam - they should be shut down.

Scumbags. Scumbags. I can't scream it loud enough. I got an invite from a good friend and thought, maybe this is like linked in. So I signed in for a free account about 3 months ago? Then I spoke to the friend and he's a guitar player and had no idea that his contacts had been stolen and used in his name. I've tried to ignore the relentless emails I've received from them but I finally deleted my account today. The jerks are unethical s%%%%%% trying to make a quick buck. It makes me sick that this is what has become of America. I wish them nothing but failure.

This company will spam your colleagues so tell everyone to be aware. I received an email to join from a colleague and don't even remember clicking on anything as I was not interested in yet another social media networking association. Now months later, another colleague received an email supposedly from me recommending that she join this group, and it says I'm with a company isn't even the company I work for! Ridiculous, I'm so annoyed and fearful that they are now sending out requests to my customers to join this ridiculous network. AVOID them like the plague.

I signed up for the free Alignable. Not a bad thing if used correctly.. but my policy is to never add or allow any site access to my contacts list. HOWEVER...my mailing address got added as my business address. Impossible to change, says it needs manager approval (really?) and can take up to 24hrs. A week later and still not changed. No answer from customer service chat. The HelpBot is worthless. *** Alignable complaints to find a phone number that is never answered. I suppose I get what I paid for, but it seems they want me to PAY to be a member then I will get better customer support?

If you're willing to put in a little effort you'll see that this is a great site to meet and network with other small business owners. Way better than LinkedIn. I don't understand what all the other reviews are talking about. I've not only connected with other amazing business owners within my area but met some pretty amazing ones outside my area. I've sat in on master mind groups where the advice I received was valid and valuable. I got to be in on meetings that were attended by the owners who let us know what improvements they're making and they listened to our suggestions. I've started a group for my area where we meet monthly to discuss current events that affect us as business owners and am able to use their Zoom feature for free. I can't wait to see what 2022 has in store for us.

DON'T ACCEPT THE ORIGINAL 'INVITATION'! Apparently, by simply clicking on the "Accept Invitation" link in the introductory email, this gives this unethical program access to personal email records, and it sends out invitations to a subset of past contacts. The program is virus/trojan- like in character and propagates itself. Instructions for deactivating my "account" are needlessly complicated, and in fact, as far as I can tell, impossible to actually execute, at least without giving further explicit permissions first (I did not allow that). Thus the best I can do with this is relegate communications to spam, and hope that it does not access any further personal records. Highly aggressive and unethical practices, although it is so slick, I would imagine that somehow it is technically legal.

I got an invite to join and before doing research on the company I went ahead and accepted the invite. The first thing I was asked was to give permission to access my contacts list. I did not grant permission--and, boy, am I glad I listened to my instincts... I have repeatedly been asked to give access to my contacts list--I just ignore the prompts. I endeavored to fill out a profile and quickly encountered a lot of bugs--so the site's development is poor. I have since done some research and there is a wealth of negative feedback on this business. I am not impressed so far and am inclined to agree with the negative feedback I have seen: that it's likely a scam or at the very least a very insidious, duplicitous business, that tries to take advantage of folks who are desperate to start or grow a business. STAY AWAY.

I have reached out multiple times to this company to have my business and personal information removed after deleting my profile over a month ago. They still maintain active redirect links containing my business name which return in *** search results. They act as though they have no control over this and blame it on browser cache's and outdated search results. They also suggest using *** link removal tool- this does not work when the links are still active! I am a webmaster and know how these things work, they just refuse to remove my personal information. This website is a complete breach of privacy and never-ending spam which is why i deleted my account in the first place. I want no further association with this company and will be reaching out to my attorney next since reaching out to Alignable's customer service hasn't gotten me anywhere.

I agree with all of the negative reviews.. And am convinced that t some level it is totally pohone - because they say they're connecting locally -- and they are not.. They say "so and so will be sending you a referral," and that doesn't happen... When I respond to emails trying to get info (Like "who ARE you?!"} the response is that the email is not monitored... Go on site and try to get info and help - Good Luck! I just found the "help" phone number from the ComplaintsBoard.com site - and called it: voice says ""If it's urgent, email us - and we'll get back to you with 24 hours" (Tried that, no good) and then "Or, leave a message after the tone" NO TONE sounds - just robot voice going on&on.So thank goodness I never got sucked into "premium"... But to cancel it, instructions say to go on site and click one spot after another. I am so leery of this outfit that I don't even want to do that": I'll just block them as spam and forget about it.And PS - re questions about connection with Linked In, info here gives "the owner's" info Via Linked in... Makes me wonder about that site too, now.

DO *** DO *** WITH ALIGNABLE! Remove all info from this company from you businEES/home PCs at once. I joined and immediately began getting fishing/scam emails.I am a photographer - I was contacted by someone wanting wedding photography services.This person didn't sound legit. AFTER *** CONVERSATION WE AGEED ON A PRICE ($700.00) dollars. The person was sent a contract (by ***) . They contacted me back and said they would send a check for $ 1.650.00 . and i could return the rest. *** SCAM. I discontinued the contact with this individual. Next day- I received an overnight check from a busiines in ***-HERE IS ***...I HAVE *** CRIMINAL JUSTICE TRAINING. I went to work and soon found that the check cam from...YOU GUEESED IT...another ALIGNABLE ***. I called this business ...*** HAS HAD PEOPLE CALLING HER *** BAD CHECKS ...*** JOINING ALIGNABLE.PLEASE GO TO *** ComplaintsBoard.com WEBSITE-***RE ARE 59 *** AGINST ALIGNABLE!I WT *** I believe Alignable does not do enough to protect it's users. I have contacted an attorney and am advised that there may be enough circumstance evidence to support a legal complaint against ALIGNABLE..i am weighing my options. IN *** ME*** TIME - I HAVE REFFERED THIS TO *** -since commiting felonious crimes across state lines is a federal offense . i am *** accusing ALIGNABLE OF YTHING but the connections to my encounter ...and what others have experienced is available on line ...the common connection seems to be ALIGNABLE."

I am writing due to Alignable is utilizing my name and reputation to market a disreputable business by the name of ***. *** has been served with a Cease and Desist Jan 2019 and has been ordered to no longer associate itself with my Name, ***, Images or any business related publications or marketing campaigns. I am represented by the *** and prepared to take legal action if my name is not removed from the *** Business Listing within 10 Days and Remains on *** or other Search Engines.

This company doesn't stop spamming and I am under the impression that they use illegal methods to harvest email addresses. I'm receiving invites from people I don't know to email addresses I never used besides to send newsletters. I use a different email for nearly every site I sign up with. Most of them get spammed by this spam bot organization. I neither consented to receiving information from the people I have never heard of nor this spam organization. You destroy the reputation of people who are not even aware that you abuse their data to spam in their names.

Today, I received an "invite" from a colleague, suggesting that they wanted to invite me into their network to refer business to me. Initially, I thought it was an actual invite from this person...so I created proceeded to click on the link to create my account, in the hopes I'd see the business referral. Little did I know, there was no business referral. Instead, Alignable captured my entire contact list and proceeded to send similar invites to the 1000+ plus of my contacts...stating that I was inviting them, so that I could refer business to them. This is a scam...plain and simple!

Alignable has created an account and i have asked them to delete my account. I keep getting email from the company about my account. I have requested they delete my account and stop sending me email but they do not do it. They also have a picture of me up associated with the account that populates my image when you do a *** search of my name. i have asked this company to delete my account and stop sending me emails. I also want to make a note that i do not recall even setting up an account with this company. please i want all association with this business deleted. I have had a very stressful experience and i want nothing ot do woth your company.

I decided to try alignable's premium program for $288 for the year to see how I enjoyed it and if it was profitable for me to utilize it. A year later, apparently it was set up for auto renew, but no where could I find where to turn it off, nor was I contacted until I saw another annual charge pop up on my credit card. When I contacted them, I was told they could turn it off but I was stuck with another year in spite of my contact within 10 days of the charge appearing. It seems unethical to make it hard to find where to *** information, turn it off, and to charge again without a reminder. I have many subscriptions, and they all remind when they are coming up again.

Back in April I was referred by a friend about this company. I did not end up using the service and was recently charged an automatic renewal fee. I had no idea of an auto renewal. I have been going back and forth with them asking to refund my money thay charged to my credit card April . I did not sign up for auto renewal and had no prior notice that they will be billing me. I find them unprofessional especially since they are in the business of helping small business. Most businesses send you a notice of an upcoming renewal. I am at my wits end of companies taking advantage of the pandemic! Please help me get this settled. I no longer have my business and have moved.

Alignable sent a false email from a realtor in ***, *** at *** in ***. The email was looking for business. *** never sent it and I don't know her nor have I ever been to ***. Apparently she is likely connected with a *** realtor I had received spam from in January so despite asking the other realtor to delete my contact info, alignable is able to parse data from who knows where and go after people. Shameful, unprofessional. I have filed a complaint with ***, their ISP. I want my email (different from the one used to file this complaint) removed. I will share that email only with Alignable on the phone...they don't answer their phones...dishonest.

The problem has been going on for the last month. I reached out to support on 8/18 didn't receive a response until 8/23 (was supposed to be 24hr for premium members). I paid $240/yr for this premium service.So far one of the worst support I have ever experienced. I'm a premium member. I have reached out to my support "coach" it took 5 days to get a response that did not deal with my issue, (not being able to create a product because alignable things it's already been created) When I responded with exact pictures and an even more detailed description of the issue, I got nothing back from my "premium coach" it's been over a week and I'm left extremely disappointed. I've worked with free services that had better support!

I signed up for Alignable and was informed that I could cancel my paid subscription any time. After not getting any particular benefit from the account, after about 9 months, I decided to cancel. This is literally impossible... I have made several attempts to cancel and keep getting the run-around. Their online instructions are bogus and I have spent far too much time trying to figure out ways around. When i contacted them directly to cancel, I received the same bogus instructions which are false. I want to stop the account (and the $40 per month charge) but I am unsuccessful. Clearly, Alignable is trying to make it as difficult as possible, to make sure they continue to get my automatic payments, despite my repeated attempts to find a way to cancel.

Alignable over the last several years has grown increasingly tenacious. Thus, I want to get off their site. They are using my business to troll other owner like myself. I know few of the these people Having been in business for 42 years, it is not my desire to answer to a non profit that signs on and wants to know how my business is going? I'm in business, not a chat room sorority. My friend of many years whom I was in business with, ***, author etc is also having tremendous problems removing herself from this site. None of the links or bots are live and they churn thus you can not get to the deactivation site. They are asking you to jump through a gazillion steps even if I could get there. I am giving them no authority moving forward to use my name or company name to solicit others for their membership. In addition, without their premium service you couldn't follow a lead it your life depended on it. I think it is wrong and I want off the site.

I had signed up for a small networking platform called Aligned. I did not give Aligned permission to import my contacts and I did not give them permission to send out an email looking for a referral from my own contacts ! cancelled this service this morning 5/26 - multiple Customers calling me asking me if I sent this to them ! Some customers I still have their contact info but have not done business with them in years ! Align says on other complaints they only send out referrals to contacts if the address book is uploaded, I would NEVER upload my contacts onto an online forumn ! I have some very high end customers ! NO phone number to talk to anyone at Alignable - have already sent two emails to their company to address this ! It is sinking me right now ! I have some very upset customers ! If Align is selling $30 dollar month memberships and the info of contacts being released to them is hidden its unethical ! I even screenshot the contract. I read it

I had a trial and premium subscription with Alignable under my personal name (RR) and my nickname (HD). Some days later, I noticed that Alignable.com published my both my personal name and my nickname on *** (on the internet) without my consent next to my Business Name (ZE). I am a private business owner and did not give consent for Alignable.com to publish my personal name, my nickname, nor my Business Name on ***, nor anywhere on the internet. I joined Alignable.com solely to network with others. After discovering that my personal, nickname, and business names were published without my consent, I emailed Alignable.com 3 Times requesting removal of the non-consenting internet entries, and I frustratingly deactivated my account due to their lack of response. Despite my efforts, they not provided a solution to the issue. I ask for help from the ComplaintsBoard.com to get the internet entries removed by Alignable & to get a refund. I have attached *** for your review. Thank you.

i became a member with the Alignable networking site about a month ago. It seemed great to be in touch with others in my field of interest. Normally I would use my home computer to go into the site but I tried to use my *** to go in and I recieved a message that I could not link in because I was not set up with them. I was very confused as to why there was an issue with using a different device. They supposedly sent a link to go directly into their site and when I clicked into it, that's when the trouble began. I went into the site as always, but the whole page was blown way out of proportion. It was as if a giant magnifying glass was over everything and I could not read anything on the page.I could not use even my home computer for the site. The letters were ridiculously huge! I had tried to contact someone named *** who is an adviser on the board and even tried the number provided but got no response. I only want everything to be restored to the original format so I can readily access information. I am sure this is a configuration issue on their end.

Dear ComplaintsBoard.com, I recently received an email (supposedly) from a friend of mine, asking me to connect with her on Alignable. I started the process to see what it was about, but stopped a few questions into the questionnaire. It clearly was not of me. It seemed very suspicious. I gave the company, Alienable, no new data about me, and quit the questionnaire. I immediately began getting (lots) of emails from Alienable. I reported them, blocked them, wrote to them to stop. However, I could not access a "remove my account" option to remove my information from the system. Apparently, one has to create an account to have access to that button. This starts a "free trial" period. I did not sign up for this service, yet Alignable is acting as if I have. The amount of email and pressure this company sent borders on harassment. I would like Alienable to cease and desist. I feel they are harassing me, trolling me and my data, and they are going to try to charge me for services that I did not agree to. Please help me remove me from their system and help protect other consumers who might also end up entangled in this company against their consent. Thank you for your time and help. I became a member of Alignable in July...I was sent emails by a man or should I say a recruiter representing them named ***. I was led to believe through emails that were sent to me through their free service that potential networkers were reaching out to me and were viewing my page, but unless I upgraded my membership I could not access them. I therefore upgraded to their paid membership and all of that ended. I never received any more emails from anyone on that site. They actually went through my address book and came up with a list of businesses that I am already in contact with. I tried to reach out on my own to some like minded businesses and for the most part was met by individuals looking to either sell me something or asking for referrals without ever getting to know me. This definitely is not what I bought in to, nor is this how networking works. I once belonged to a local *** and we really worked hard to get each other business. Alignable has done nothing to help me grow my business. I reached out to their customer service to see what recourse I had and was answered by a coach name ***. He told me that I could cancel my membership but that it would remain active until the next billing cycle. I paid for a yearly membership. I asked *** if I could be refunded the remaining balance on my account because I was unhappy with their service as they did they provide any service at all and he did not respond. I also asked for a supervisor and again no response. So, here I am writing to you in hopes that this can be resolved. I believe that this site is useless and the fact that their customer service team is not available to help answer any questions other than to say that you are stuck there until the next billing cycle is not how a business should be run. Alignable needs to be accountable to their customers and have a customer service team available to their members. We are all small businesses trying to survive in the midst of Covid. This is truly unfair and they have definitely taken advantage of their members!
