DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The owner Tyler Anderson comes to your home and pushes you to sign a contract and then immediately does the work. When I called the next day to cancel but still pay for the service provided he says I have to pay $180 cancellation fee. I never received a copy of the contract. He says he does the work immediately to void your 3 day right to cancel and also DOES NOT GIVE YOU A COPY OF YOUR CONTRACT so that you will pay him the cancellation fee. He also has threatened to put a mechanics lien on my house for $180 if I do not pay. I sent in the $180, now he is trying to extort another $120. Now my only option is to file a complaint with the district attorney and go to the sheriff department to see if they can help with his constant threats of a mechanic lien. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR HIS POOL COMPANY EITHER.
False Advertisement. Not organic. On the second page of his contract he list the chemicals that he uses on your home. The following highly toxins are listed:metaldehyde, methomyl, fipronil, boric acid, and strychnine. This is only a few that are the page. Some of these chemical are highly toxic to pets. He advertises on his website "No chemicals used"He also tries to void "your 3 day right to cancel" by doing the work immediately. Be aware of false claims.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Everything we do is in writing, all expectations too are documented. The reason customers pay what they pay is because it is documented, and like any responsible company, we will peruse within our legal rights, including but not limited to filling a Mechanics Lien - this however only applies to homeowners who willfully attempt to commit fraud.
There have been many customers who have been let out of their agreement without incident, or complaint, these are responsible homeowners who are professional and act as such, unlike others who plaster all over the web disgusting untrue filth, stating erroneous facts of which they know nothing about, who file numerous complaints, only to be told by those boards that No Bugs has committed no wrong.
I have the same issues, in that I did not recieve a copy of the contract. The cancellation fee was not brought to my attention until I actually signed the contract. I was charged for a full month and only half of the job was done (only the front yard).
I did however call Tyler to complain about these issues and he has cancelled the service, without charging me the cancellation fee (so he claims).
Sorry for all of your troubles with this company. Hopefully things will work out.
