Recently I received yet another violation this latest one for 2/16/20 I took this couple to Brick, NJ when I had to pay the toll in cash and not get a receipt because there was no full service line open. Prior to this I received another violation to which I actually had a receipt and was waiting for weeks now on a call back about the ongoing harrassment with these toll violations when I pay every single toll! I would not give NJ Crooked Pass one penny more than necessary believe that! I make it my business to pay my tolls but sometimes I forget to ask for a receipt because I have never had to use these toll roads as much and it's almost like they know when you didn't get a receipt because a violation comes. If they have the capability to know when you didn't get a receipt they also have the capability to see that you paid those tolls. They are liars and I know they know people are paying these tolls and it can be verified with their pictures or video they claim they don't have but I counted at least 4 different cameras at a toll booth. Receipt or not I paid my tolls and I will not pay a penny more to NJ Crooked Pass

100% extortion. My wife made a trip to Atlantic City for a convention, traveling on the Turnpike, Garden State Parkway, and Atlantic City Expressway. Despite having an up to date E-Z Pass on the car, they still sent us a bill with a photo of the car/license plate for the $1.00 toll plus a $50 penalty. This despite us having an operating E-Z Pass tag that was read on the same trip, and even ON THE SAME ROAD (the Atlantic City Expressway).

Twice I sent in appeals showing that we had an up to date E-Z Pass, attached to the car, with the car on the account, THAT WAS READ SEVERAL TIMES ON THE SAME TRIP. Even waited on hold twice for about half an hour to speak to a CSR to explain the same thing.

Then, again, like a month later, they had a credit collection agency contact me saying they had a claim against me of $51, although they would 'settle' with me for $38.

100% bulli[censored]. 100% extortion. Disgraceful.

My credit card was cancelled because of suspected fraud. My ez pass was not replenished because that was the card tied to it. Well.. because it took a month or so to realize it, I was getting hit with fines from all over for failure to pay the toll. EZ Pass Delaware charged me $54 for a $4 charge twice in the same weekend. Obviously, it was because I didn't realize the account needed to be credited.. but, come on? Can they just keep charging you $54 for a $4 charge over and over and over.. This is beyond punitive. It is downright extortion.. AND THERE IS NO ONE TO TALK TO BECAUSE YOU ARE IN PHONE JAIL! UGH!

Yes they have pictures of your plate/car rear, and driver and tag from the front. They sent me both after I refuse to pay the extortion fees. Pay the tolls only, as you will not get the administrative back. As a note NJ does not have a court hearing system as other states do, such as NY . This is a a rig job so they get away will finding you guilty and stealing your money . Pay by money order, this gives you a receipt, not by check.
