New York Life Insurance review: Target life policy

I been paying this policy for over 25 years, 50, 000.00, I have 8 dollar surrender value on policy I never missed a payment in all those years and my agent is not returning my calls and every end of the year I am faced with big payment. I am about to retire and I want an explanation of what is happening, I think my policy is being changed without my permission causing my policy to lose value! My name is Alvin Davenport my (Target Life) policy #62 611 373, I checked and have proof from my documents that my policy also sometimes say universal life. This has me thinking something is wrong! I have put to much time and money in this policy and the way it was explained to me after so many years the policy pays for itself - Target Life! Agent-Violet Ertel not returning calls
