I bought my daughter tickets for xmas from need a ticket. I paid €110.00 each for 2 tickets, I paid over the price as that was what she wanted for her xmas present and ticket master had sold out. Also the tickets i has paid for was meant to be in the front row in the centre of the arena..
Two weeks before xmas the tickets still had not arrived, so I rang the company and spoke to a guy called Gearoid McDonagh (I don't believe this was even his real name as he was a bit iffy even giving me his name) and he said the tickets would not be out until a week before the concert (28th March) I explained that they were a xmas present so he promised to send out a gift cert for the tickets so that i could give that to my daughter on xmas morning, but that never ever arrived;.
In march i must have rung need a ticket at least a dozen times as i was getting nervous about not receiving the tickets, and eventually with 2 days to go, the tickets arrived but they weren't the tickets i paid for and were in fact at the side of the stage and rite at the back were my daughter wouldn't have been able to see anything?. I was fuming as the tickets weren't cheap, so i rang and asked to speak to the manager, I was told his name was Michael Sculley but he wasn't available and every time I rang after I was told he wasn't available which makes me think he doesn't exist and that something dodgy is going on, .
however I spoke to that guy Gearoid again who is in fact quite a rude man, but he agreed to change the tickets|. As i was in hospital having surgery my daughter's step mum agreed to take her to the concert and she had to go and meet Gearoid in town a couple of hours before the concert but all he done was swapped the tickets for the other side of the stage and again at the back:. if i had of been there myself i wouldn't have took them form him..
The next day from my hospital bed i rang again to have it out with him, as surprise surprise Michael Sculley wasn't available yet again, and Gearoid promised to refund the money for the tickets (this promise is also stated on the website) but to date i haven't received a penny back from them. The stress from all this did not help me with my recovery from my operation. I think the company "need a ticket" are a pack of chancer's and once they get your money they do not care what tickets you get or whether or not your happy. I would urge anyone thinking of buying tickets from this site not to as I'd be 100% certain that you'll only end up like me, unhappy and unsatisfied with this pathetic company and so called man Gearoid McDonagh.
In total I paid €230.00 (€110.00 x 2 and €10.00 for postage, what a joke!) for my daughter to go to the 02 to hear katy perry sing cos she sure did not see her! And I can not stress enough how disappointed my daughter was as she was so excited about the tickets i had actually paid for.. Be very wary of this company!

I can't believe "Need a Ticket" are STILL in business in 2014! I had to take them to the Small Claims Court over wrong tickets for a Bob Dylan Concert 4 years ago... I booked the ticket in January for an April Show..picked a good (expensive"seat) ..I had to ring them numerous times to find out where my ticket was..to cut a long story short..I booked into a Dublin hotel near the O2 and after numerous phone calls my "ticket " was delivered to the hotel half hour before the concert! I thought I was not going to see the show at all! When I got to the O2 I thought I was getting my "good seat" chosen carefully on their site & paid in full 4 months before! Only to find I was way up at the back and at the side of the stage so Bob Dylan was only a "Speck"! To add insult to injury the couple beside me had just purchased their tickets an hour before the concert for €49 each! I had paid €160 4 months before! NEVER USE THIS SO CALLED COMPANY!...I never got my money back and they did not show up in court..they should be in prison for fraud!
