National Movers Services review: Haky's Transport & National Movers scam

This company was brokered out from National movers. People BEWARE. They are criminals, unethical, unprofessional. Showed up late, understaffed, then it became a fire drill, rushing around. Later realizing that my personal items were just thrown into boxes and taped up to mask the disaster I would later unpack. My story and sequence of events is very similar to all the other reviews. This is a major SCAM. As the hours passed and the movers Yan & Pablo increasing were irritated called in their Boss who showed up at my home to put a new contract in front of me demanding to sign to an increase. Mike the Boss is aggressive and was making me feel unsafe in my own home. Saying you have to do this, or we will not move your items. They operate out of the pressure of deadlines and intimidation tactics. National gives you after hours # to call in case this situation happens. (don't bother) National and their teams are closely involved with this company you are very much on your own. I called the call center 3 times frantic seeking help. expressing that I was scared and nervous having these man in my home. No one ever called me back. It gets worse please CONTINUE READING. as they were packing master bedroom area, I went in 3 different times to notice that the bedroom slider was unlocked, and wooden stick was removed from track. So, I put it back really not taking note at that time.

The men left after 11:00 pm. I just wanted them gone. I was scared and exhausted. At 1:30a.m I was awaken by someone trying to break into my home by violently shaking my slider door. I called 911. and have all information documented.

When speaking to national the next day VERONICA and relying on all details. She was unprofessional, unsympathetic. They threatened not to deliver items until I paid new amount.

National promises the following details:

1. Professional Door to Door service- NO

2. Expert advice and guidance throughout the course of the move. - NO

3. Disassembly of all standard furniture. - Some

4. Reassembly for all standard furniture. - NO

5. Itemized inventory indicating condition at origin - NO

I still am not finished unpacking all the broken parts of my life.

Plus, all missing items, but I didn't want to wait any longer to warn customers that are considering using National or Hayk's. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !
