National Hotel, An Adult Only Oceanside Resort review: Bed bugs and physical injury

On 12/11/2021, a friend and I arrived at the above hotel, for a reserved stay to 12/18/2021. Over three consecutive days, my roommate woke up to find tiny rust stains all over her bed sheets. By 12/12/2021, we'd figured out the stains were bed bug waste. The hotel manager was unapologetic and claimed he didn’t know what they were. Even after the maid changed the bed linen, the tiny rust waste spots kept appearing. The manager did not even have the courtesy to offer us alternative accommodations. There was another incident. The hotel bathtub had three canisters attached to the back tile wall. While I was taking a shower, the shampoo canister fell off the wall and crashed onto my left foot, causing acute pain and purple bruising. Went to local Urgent Care and limped out with my foot taped up. Again, the hotel manager did nothing. I lost valuable vacation time, due to all that was involved in packing up to move to another hotel. I filed a 3-page complaint with hotel management, demanding a full refund. In response, the hotel fraudulently charged my credit card for the balance after I had already left the premises. I’m still disputing charges. When I called hotel management to resolve these issues, I was told they could not find my complaint. Worse, F.K. advised me to send documents to an email address that rejects all outside messages. One can only conclude that this hotel is run by liars and insidious thieves.
