Nancy Edwards calls herself a 'TV Producer' and operates in NY, NJ, and Florida. She is mid 40s, 5'4, red hair, and currently resides in Putnam County NY.

She hired me to work on a 'tv pilot' she was producing, and stiffed me out of my wages. She also bounced checks to numerous other crew members who worked on this project, and numerous vendors, service providers, and landlords.

Nancy Edwards has several known aliases including Nancy Gilligan, Nancy Hillis, Nancy Hill, and Nancey Edward. She will sometimes identify herself as a 'Satellite Publicity Maven' or a 'Marketing Specialist' if that suits her current agenda more than TV Producer.

She operates under numerous company names including The Barefoot Agency, Broadcast Media Solutions, Shamrock Studios, Shamrock Pictures, and Take Two Productions.

She usually attempts to partner up with reputable professionals and companies in her current area of operation, to give herself credibility (and credit) with local vendors and crew.

She also hires a few hard-up people in the area, desperate for any work, to give her targets/victims the impression she has a team of people working with her. These people are usually not in on the scam and end up as additional victims in the end. She usually lures them in with promises of future jobs with big salaries and titles, while exploiting them for everything from using their credit cards to buy things for her 'productions', to having them chauffeur her around in their personal vehicles, to working for her for free.

Nancy Edwards is an expert at reading people and manipulating them. She plays on people's emotions and sympathies. She presents herself very professionally, and seems honest, but that's what makes her so good at suckering people into giving her things ON CREDIT.

In the short time I worked for her, I saw her bounce checks to over a dozen vendors and employees, falsify numerous invoices to make it look like she had money coming in from big companies, and then pack up shop and leave everyone hanging. She even bounced checks to all the poor waiters and cooks at her lavish Christmas Eve party.

She will attempt to appease your growing anger, and threats of legal / criminal action for lack of payment, by finally paying you a small amount of cash, a tiny percentage of what she owes you, in the hopes of dragging out the con until she can pack up and flee to her next location.

If you ever encounter this woman, run, very fast.
