This lady, Jenna, sold me two sick sphynx kittens. They came into my home very thin, with diarrhea, one had a broken tail. Almost immediately my other two cats became very ill. We sent a fecal sample to the lab and it was confirmed they had the coronavirus. This can morph into FIP and be fatal. One of the kittens also had upper respiratory infection and is still fighting it. My other two cats became very ill, in particular my senior cat. He stopped eating and he became jaundiced. A high bilirubin in cats is 15. His was 79. He turned yellow. He had to stay in an animal hospital for a week on an IV and had to have a feeding tube put in. He still has the tube in now
This breeder Nakedinthelakes cattery or @nakedinthelakes_sphynx first said she did nothing wrong. I signed a guarantee that the cats were healthy and they weren't. She then blocked me. After I left bad reviews she unblocked me and said she would refund me for one cat if I took down my negative reviews. She then turned around again and said she will refund nothing and blocked me again.
BUYER BEWARE this lady is an irresponsible breeder who sells sick, unaltered animals. Don't let what she did to me happen to you.
Nakedinthelakes sold me two sick kittens. When I got to her home it was dirty and smelled of cat urine. She said she had 9 other cats in the house she was breeding, one kitten was severely emaciated. She said it was from her getting spayed. The other kitten had a broken tail at almost a 90 degree angle. She said they both had diarrhea, but it was from deworming. I was upset by what I saw and didn't want to leave the kittens with her so I bought them. I took them to my vet and my vet said deworming doesn't cause diarrhea, parasites do. Nakedinthelakes_sphynx knew I had other animals in my home. When the kittens came home my other two cats got sick within the day. My senior cat stopped eating and ended up in the hospital on an IV and had to have a feeding tube put in. His liver started to fail and he became jaundice. His bilirubin shouldn't be above 15 and his was 79. He turned yellow.
Nakedinthelakes_sphynx denied everything. Refused to give me any money back and blocked me on Instagram. I left a negative review on her Facebook page so she removed her review section completely.
I have vet records showing the kittens had the coronavirus, upper respiratory infections among other things. My vet bills for one week have been $4140. I am still not out of the woods. I am having a hard time getting my senior cat to eat, so he is still being fed through a tube in the side of his neck. He has to go back to the vet next week for more blood work to see if his liver is permanently damaged.
The fact that this person sold me sick kittens knowing it would put my other animals at risk is u forgivable. Her solution is to deny deny deny and block me.
Today, June 12 2018 I got a message from someone who saw my posts about Nakedinthelakes Cattery. Jenna Lincoln wanted to use this person’s male French bulldog to breed with her female. In exchange she said she would breed her male sphynx with this person’s female. She said she would register the kittens u dear a different cat’s papers to make it easier for selling the kittens.
More proof this person is a liar and not someone anyone should risk getting pets from.
