On 16 February this year, I made a payment of £1,394 to my5day.com after booking a driving course for mid-March. On 20 February, I received a written confirmation of the booking.
On 13 March, I was informed that the instructor assigned to the course had fallen ill and the course would be rescheduled in early May.
On 28 April, I received an email informing me that the instructor assigned to the course would not be available due to childcare reasons and that my course would be rescheduled again.
I am about to start a new job, I can no longer schedule the course, and I have serious doubts about the company's ability to provide the service it promised.
I have asked for a refund.
On 18 May, the company emailed me informing me that the refund was in progress and that I would receive a confirmation the next day.
Today, 24 May, I have received neither the confirmation nor the refund.

Unfortunately that's what they do. Take your money then tell you they have to reschedule because instructor is ill(they need a new excuse by now?) You will never see an instructor or your money. You and I are just 2 people out of many many people that had the same thing with this rogue trader James Cowley.
