MVPLoops.com didn’t provide me the services I paid for. They told me that I have no future in music industry and they wasted their time with me. I paid them for the services, not for the advices! I want my money back. I will try myself in other company.

One thing is for certain, every one has a right to their own opinion and everyone deserves to get PAID for services rendered, i.e. if you provide a product, you should be paid on time and if your goal in life is to be a musician, then that you should do. One thing about it, everyone isn't going to like it; however, you can certainly find people willing to rock with you. I must say after reading this chain of opinions and facts I would like to shed some light to both parties and offer some positive suggestions. Nigel Williams, with you being a respectable business man, I must say I am somewhat disheartened by your response to this customer, who is obviously upset. As the person in the position that you hold you should always remain respectful at all times when you are conducting business over the telephone, over the internet, etc. Although it may have been your opinion that LTC's music wasn't something you would necessarily would rock with you should NEVER and I mean NEVER indicate such in the way you presented. You have to have couth when dealing with customers. Certainly you can find away to turn what everyone is calling slander into constructive criticism by only when warranted. One thing is for certain if you are getting paid to mix a song, don't offer up additional services that I will call "coaching" or "advice". unless it is asked for, which in this case based on what I read, I don't see where that was requested. It is apparent that your emotions may have gotten the best of you and certainly you can do better.
To LTC, when asking for a service please provide what is necessary for the service to be completed. You can't ever come after anyone without all of your ducks in a row. One thing about it when you make a statement or place an accusation, please be sure you have some hard core evidence or in this case, if you know that there is a "slight" variation in your story of how you express it and what actually happened, it's always best to go with what happened. I noticed how you didn't refute the information about sending MVP Loops the incorrect format, song, etc multiple times. Also the fact that you got your bank involved, now you know that they are going to check into it thoroughly before refunding money. This was not the best way to indicate how frustrated you were. Perhaps the frustration was fully developed when you were told those very opinionated comments about you and your music. Hopefully you have learned from this and hopefully MVP hasn't pursued with the fraudulent action against you. Hopefully MVP is conducting better practices. Hopefully this is all in the past; but always remember history repeats itself and can reincarnate itself into different things later on in the flow of business or life IF it is not properly handled.
Those were my two cents from a story of the past.

I read the email from Nigel Williams and mvploops.com and I agree that someone should sue them for what they said about LTC. If a company that makes their lively-hood from providing a service like mixing music and they tell their customer that basically "your music sucks", then they should be sued and nobody should use their services. Some people might like LTC's music and some might not but, if your providing a service, you don't say…here I have provided your service now I will tell you that your music sucks and I will continue to tell you that your music sucks and now you are dishonorable. What slander is next? Obviously Mr. Williams has no tact. I have seen a lot of tweets regarding this matter and everybody agrees that Nigel Williams and MVPloops.com is out of line. If I was one of the celebrities that they have listed as "working with" I would tell them to remove their names from their Web Site. I would not want to be associated with this jerk! If anybody want to read the email from Nigel Williams it can be found here: http://www.gomuzic.com/mvploopsinsult.html

Any company that would hire a person like Nigel Williams should rethink their hiring practices. All I see is a company that should be sued for slander. They are probably some rinky dink company that employs 3 people. I am going to do some research on them and I will post some more information about them if anybody is interested. I am going to tweet this and I think anybody else who feels the same should do so as well. I am not a music artist but, it is clear to me that this Nigel Williams person is a jerk. I can't believe that he would write about someone being dishonorable. Obviously, he can't let this go either because he has listed the same thing twice here so far and probably will keep posting the same idiotic thing because he doesn't see what he did wrong. You owe Agnelo (LTC) an apology.

I repeat Nigel Williams is a looser! He is so dense he thinks this song is about him! You keep reiterating the same thing! As I can see you insulted a young artist working hard and you think that you are justified. I hope Agnelo sues you! Looser!

Agnelo paid for the service and then tried to back out by calling his bank and filing a fraudulent claim that he didn't know anything about the charge. The fraud dept of his bank called me and I sent them emails showing that we had been working with Agnelo all along. In fact I had emailed him earlier that day. The case was closed and he was refused the charge back. I was told that they suspected that Agnelo was not telling the truth and called to verify. That's what the main issue is. I take offense to anyone trying to defraud my company. I emailed him and told him we were going to report him to the FBI for filing a false claim. If Agnelo can explain to everyone why he tried to defraud us it would be appreciated instead of harping on something I said that hurt his feelings. We have never had any issues with any clients until Agnelo DePina came along. Agnelo has an uncleared sample from Scareface in his song that he needs to remove or he could face a lawsuit by the copyright holder of the movie. I mentioned that to him also but he says nothing about that. Agnelo obviously has a bruised ego and is not cut out for the music industry. I have been working in this industry for a long time and have been very successful at what I do. If he takes that music in its current state to any record exec he will be laughed at and told a lot worse than what I told him. Those are harsh truths. He needs to get tougher skin. He's trying to be a serious Hip Hop artist and gets butt hurt over someone saying something bad about his music? He's talking about doing "gangsta" stuff in his song but doesn't come across very "gangsta" to me. In spite of all the bad things he is saying about the company we actually bent over backwards to fix his song even though we were losing money on the project. We gave him a free master and went past the allowed revisions to work with him even after we found out he tried to cheat us out of the money. He is a very dishonorable person.

I agree with you 100% MVPloops.com sucks. Who does this guy Nigel think he is. When you pay for a service you don't expect them to tell you that your music sucks. I think that Mariah Carey, J-Lo, Ice Cube…and the others that they mention should disassociate themselves from MVP Loops. Personally, I like LTC's music.

I like his music and personally think that your service is to mix music not to slander young artist who work hard. I think that Agnelo should sue you and other artists should not use your service. Mr. Williams comes off as extremely pompous.

In response to this claim that MVP Loops ripped off Agnelo DePina our response is this.

Agnelo sent us a track to work on and because he didn't get an immediate response he freaked out. We are extremely busy and may take a couple days to respond to emails. He did not upload his files properly in the first place. We contacted him and offered to master his music for free after we completed the mix. We worked on the song that he sent but were then told that he sent the wrong version and asked if he could send a new version. We received the "new" version and mixed that track. We sent him the reference mix for approval and were then told that song was also the wrong version as it was missing the intro. He then sent a stereo file of what he wanted it to sound like. The engineer tried to piece it together even though it was an almost impossible task. At this point we had worked on his music 3 times. We asked Agnelo to resend the proper files.

We finally received the files but as we were working on them we get a call from Danielle Warren of the fraud department of his bank Rockland Trust. She said that Agnelo was claiming he didn't know anything about the $149 charge for the mixing services that was on his credit card. She thought it was kind of strange since he has a lot of music purchases on his card. I mentioned that I had emailed him earlier that day about sending the proper files. I sent her the chain of emails that proved that he knew about the charges and she closed the case. Agnelo filed a false claim and was trying to defraud MVP Loops. I sent him an email about this and told him we were going to report him to the authorities.

At this point we decided to mix his track anyway since the chargeback was reversed and just to get this whole ordeal over with. We should have charged him more money because he used up his two revisions by sending us incorrect mixes 3 times. Here are the terms of the mixing agreement found on the site http://www.mvploops.com/mixing--mastering/standard-mix/. It states very clearly that you get 2 revisions for the level mixing service he purchased. Every time he sent us the wrong file we had to mix the song from scratch.

We are honoring his free master in spite of all this. Since this a freebee I told him in email that he will get it when we are done working on other projects. We have gone way beyond what was required of us as a company to accommodate a thief and are technically under no legal obligation to work on this project any further.

Our mixing team has worked on major records for Carly Rae Jepsen, J-Lo Ice Cube, Earth Wind and Fire, Tupac, Mariah Carey, Mary J Blige, Earth Wind and Fire, Rod Stewart and many more and are highly regarded in the industry. We also work with great indie artists (some of whom have charted) and have never had an issue like we had with Agnelo. We work with anyone (pro and amateur) but will not deal with anyone such as Agnelo DePina who knowingly tries to defraud the company.

Agnelo's music is terrible and I stand by my criticism of it. The music production is weak and the rapping is not in time with the rest of the song. I offered some professional advice to save him from certain heartache later. He is also using an uncleared sample from the movie Scareface in his song and I pointed out that he could potentially be sued for doing this by the copyright holder.

We do not want Agnelo DePina as a customer. I wrote him an email never to contact us again after we deliver his mastered files and his feelings got hurt and is now posting nonsense online. We stand by our work and have the email chain to prove and refute all allegations by Agnelo DePina.

Agnelo has received his mix and master so his claim that he did not receive anything is false. We have proof of all this in email. We are currently speaking with our legal team about legal action against him for filing a false claim with his bank.
