We sold our home in Northwood Estates (Irvine, CA) after our longtime renters were being unfairly treated by the HOA. One board member in particular seemed to do everything possible to make my renters miserable. He constantly emailed me with false stories about them. Refused to approve car transponders, pool keys to the point that my renters got fed up and left. As an owner, he made my life miserable so I decided to take take my profits and sell. Unfortunately, I used Monica Carr who seems to have a monopoly in the neighborhood. While she and her team did a decent job, her fees were outrageous. A year or so later I come to find out her brother in law (or former brother-in-law) is the same HOA board director who made my renters and other neighbors miserable! At no time did Monica Carr disclose this exclusive relationship she had with the HOA board which is surely a conflict of interest since she clearly profited by my premature sale. I have now lost untold amounts of potential rental income. Maybe the realtor licensing board should be aware of this. I should have been suspicious when it seemed like she was only realtor allowed to post signs, go door to door soliciting, and operate "community events" in the neighborhood. Sellers and buyers beware. Some very questionable practices going on in this neighborhood with this realtor.

Desired outcome: Monica Carr should not be allowed to have access to this neighborhood, to sponsor community events, go door to door, or market in this neighborhood.
